Yyyyeah I'm watching Ducks-Jets tomorrow night. Selanne's return to the 'Peg and HD stream on GameCenter is just too much to pass up.
I hate to admit, but yes. Same plan here. Can't miss this one! I'll be watching TV broadcast here, but ..of course.. lurking Wild from GCL at the same time!
Again, faith is being tested... Are we true? Am I true?
This is the one injury that could change the tide. It certainly did last year.
A slide would certainly hurt but it all goes back to the expectations at the start of this season(for me at least). I'd honestly be more disappointed if Fletcher made another ill-advised(Barker) knee-jerk trade to try to make a quick fix(Kobasew) than to watch things spiral out of control.
All I ask is that the guys don't come back until they are ready. These injuries suck, and we desperately need them in the lineup. But the LAST thing we need is for a guy to come back early, aggravate the injury and make it worse, only to make the recovery twice as long. I'd rather have them sit a few extra games (and heal properly) now rather than missing weeks or months by bouncing on and off the IR when the race to the postseason really heats up.
I don't think they can bring Granlund over but I'm not positive on that.
One of Coyle or Zucker on the other hand... Though, just having a decent feel for the character make-up of those two, I can't see either doing that to their school.
Good stuff. From what the pbp guys were saying last night about Butch, it sounded like he could have played but Yeo decided not to as a precaution. He definitely could have helped, but I'm not too messed up about it.
Well Koivu being on the ice is a big sign. Hopefully with him back in the lineup centering Heater and Clutter, the team actually shows up against Vancouver and gives them a fight.
