If you have Verizon FiOS in the DMV, is this game going to be in HD? Reason I ask is that the Wizards are playing on CSN (Caps are on CSN+) around the same time. Usually when this happens one of those teams who is on the + station gets the shaft....
I think Vokoun would be fine if given the same shot Neuvy has. Playing part time was hurting them both. And in the big piture I would give the #1 spot to Neuvy even if Vokoun may be better when his game came around. With no real cup run in the plans we should keep the guy that going to be around a while happy.

Shaft. Every time I watch the Caps on CSN+ (FiOS 501) it's in standard definition with the stupid vertical bars on the side that say "FiOS". At least you get tv though, I'll be streaming it here in Colorado :-/.

CSN+ is no longer just 501, it's also now 575 (or whatever one below your CSN channel is). And it's supposed to be HD as well.
all this booze and food has put me to sleep pretty well, i dont need the caps to help me along the way. and if its not an incompetent 2-1 loss, its probably a sloppy 5-4 loss. i figure the latter given the opponent.
oh, and **** vokoun. guys got a ***** attitude considering his performance, which he himself has admitted various times.
Nervy game did not start to pick up until he got a few games in a row. And he is starting to feel like the #1 guy. And I really think if we did the same with Vokoun his game would pick up. I am sure he was sold on DC as being the #1 guy. And they slapped him in the face the first day. And the season has been one big mind F for both of them until Hunter pick Nervy. And in doing so his game picked up. I think it would have been the same if it was Vokoun. Vokoun has a better GAA now and at any point Nervy has been in the league. There no telling what a little support or from a coach could do.

that is factually false. neuvirth's run of 5 starts began with a shutout in the 1st game. vokoun has not allowed 1 goal or less since november 11. how much more of a shot does he need?

edit: some people have created a perception in their mind that neuvirth has been playing all the time and vokoun has been watching. vokoun was announced as the #1 at the start of camp. after not playing in the opener he started 20 of the next 28 games.....and losing and playing poorly a lot. should he have played more than that?

Like I already said "And in the big picture I would give the #1 spot to Neuvy" if you are not reading along. I just think until now no one was given the clear cut #1 spot. And you never know what would of happened if they did the same for Vokoun.
And if you dont care to read or understand what I am saying. I will say it again. I think it hurt both Neuvirth and Vokoun not have a clear #1. And as soon as we pick a clear #1 for net. It would have help who ever it was. Like we are seeing now.
Keep in mind 10-15 games this season the team quit. There was no heart or real effort. The great Mr Roy could not of helped the team at most points of the season.
