Calgary 3 CBJ 1. CBJ gets the first goal early and then never threatens again. After the game, Arneil is indignant toward the media because he feels their negative coverage is draining the boys of any confidence they may have had. Scott Howson immediately gives Arneil a vote of confidence. Mike Priest responds by saying, "Who is Scott Arneil again?"

Actually I take that back. This is the kind of game we win. It will buy Scott Arneil another 10 games even if he loses 9 of them. Heck, win 2 in a row and a 3 year extension is in play.

Who cares? At least Carolina and Anaheim won last night.

Arniel & the CBJ have won 12 out of the last 57 games... why the negativity?

The Mrs and I are bringing our little boy (age 2 1/2) to his first regular season game ever tonight. So regardless of the outcome, it'll be a pretty cool night for yours truly. As long as he doesn't have me at the diaper changing table during the only CBJ goal, that is.

This is officially a science experiment -- how long can the team go without a win AND not fire someone?

I think Calgary can help the experiment along.

I am taking my three older kids (two in college one in high school) tonight as a part of Christmas. I am thrilled that you are taking your son. It is how I raised my kids, in that they went to the games with me and now are fans of the sports and teams I root for. It is a great way to bond with your kids and something they will remember always. Good stuff. have fun. We have one rule in our family: Don't let the millionaires get you down, meaning that no matter who wins or loses, enjoy the game and enjoy the time with your family

Be prepared for him to a) hold his ears whenever the cheers get loud and b) HATE the cannon.

And by regular season game, you mean you only bring him to playoff games before tonight?

Is Sanford starting the game? How well do you think he'll perform? Thanks

More then likely he is starting and if the D sucks tonight like they did last night he will give up 3-4 goals.

There will be ten of us (family in town visiting for christmas) there tonight, so I want an exciting game win or lose. For my 5-year old niece and my 3-year old nephew, it will their first nhl game.

My son, a U.S. Marine, is here on his last leave before deploying to Afghanistan so he wanted to go to tonight's game.

It would be nice for him to get to see a win.

I hope they pull a W out of this one tonight. It'd be nice to see a blowout win after so many humiliating losses this season... ie: Nashville (/sight )

Anyone know what our record vs. Calgary is this season, and lifetime???

Not sure of the lifetime record, I would wager that Calgary is among the short list of western conference teams we have a winning record against though, or very close, always seems like the CBJ play very well against, this could be the last win of 2011....

Pretty sure we are 2-0 this season against Calgary.

Getting ready to leave the house soon to make the long drive up to Columbus. Looks like the weather wont be as bad as they were saying last night.

That list says one thing... We must play the Islanders 40 times a year.

Only winning records against 3 teams in the West? /sigh

You really don't wont to see the teams they have the worst records against. At the top of that list is a 9-29-3 record vs Colorado.
