1) Hank- Shutout win, gets the the first star.

2) Hagelin - 2 goals night and the game winner. Tied for team lead in shots on goal last night with 5. Richards also had 5. Hagelin did it with 13 mins of icetime, while Richards had 15.

3) Del Zotto - 2 Primary assists. Was a plus 3 on the night. Logged 21 mins of icetime.

Honorable mentions...
Anton Stralman lead the Rangers in Hits with 6. Dubi has 5. Stralman was also a plus 3.

Johnny Malkin lead the team in faceoff percentage. He won 100% in three faceoffs.
Next was Stepan who went 8-7.

The toe-drag that led to Hagelin's 1st goal was beyond filthy.

My friend and I jumped out of our seats, and when Hagelin put the rebound in we were flipping out.

Psh, that's nothing. Bickel is on pace to have 52 points in only 52 games.

Trade him! Bench him! Put Avery in his spot and give him a chance to play D!

Last couple games I have had to apologize to my dog for startling him due to my outbursts of yelling and screaming during Ranger goals..

After Del Zotto's toe drag I saw his shot get saved and I immediately thought "Wow if that had gone in" and just a second later you see Callahan knock if over to Hagelin for the goal, I was ecstatic to see them finish that play.

Yeah that Mdz dangle was pure confidence, he pulls a stunt like that last year and you got a poke check breakaway. Gotta love it

That MDZ dangle was ill advised. He was the lone man back. Even though it led to a score, he was warned to be prepared to catch hell if it doesn't work next time.

He must have been channeling his inner Brian Leetch on that play.

Carl is harder to pronounce and takes longer to say then/than (can't tell em apart) Calle.

Henke referred to him as "Haggy" in a post-game interview several games ago. I wonder if that's what the players call him.

I'm sure. Just another in a long line of "original" hockey nick-names.

Pretty sure we still had a dman at or just behind the blue line when he made that move.

Just thought I'd bring these little nuggets from the Isles board to the post game table. I must admit that reading the following gives me a guilty pleasure. Hope some of you enjoy it as well:

"at this point, the last thing im concerned with is the outdoor game..

My hope is that the Ranges bus overturns on the way to Philly.

now THAT would make up for these two losses."

and this:

"...as I said way back in October...I hope they pack up and ****ing move...one of the biggest laughing stocks in professional sports for the last quarter century. I am not wasting anymore time with this **** organization until they decide to actually ice a professional hockey team...

...and **** Wang too..."

..and finally this:

"Well said.. I agree.

Im done."

It's cold and it tastes good.
