What a stupid comment!!!

David is the playmaker of the line and Cammy is the shooter. Why would Cammy not expect Desharnais to give him the puck??? Stupid, just stupid!

Emelin's natural side is on the left and he looks way better there... unless you mean Subban is playing on the left and Emelin on the right which would be just bizarre.

I agree with you on that point.

Veterans are gonna be gunning to his throat for those comments. Don't expect any happy looks directed towards Desharnais tonight.

Don't think anyone will open the bench door for him when he gets back to the bench.

Habs just announced that Pierre Groulx and Larry Carriere will be available to the media every game day.

Trying to smooth over things with the French media?

Well, Emelin is apparently playing on his wrong side (Still) but with Kaberle on the left side.

Oh well. Sorry about getting his partner wrong but he's still playing on the right.

Stop going nuts on Phil Parent. He had a source. Do I think his source is credible? Absolutely not. But there are plenty of bs sources on this site cited as credible sources all the time. Whenever I see articles from that site I must admit it's usually stirring up bs. But don't shoot the messenger

Subban unhappy.

http://www.montrealgazette.com/sport...124/story.html

Now where did I read/hear Pacioretty's comments...

Anyway, it went along the lines of "I guess that even when you do good things, it's not good enough." which until I find the source you'll have to believe.

Lots of unhappiness.
I wasn't asking as much as a mod but as a poster. Sometimes we're curious too

The media in this town is always about selling copies and pushing drama. So all sources are sort of iffy credibility-wise. But that's what they reported, and they have a soundclip to prove it!

I can see DD's point too. But you don't say that to the press!

Could be that Cammy is being a stuck up jerk in the room and DD will get praise for saying that. Noone really knows the mindset in that room and probably never will.

You think any of the players fear Randy Cunneyworth or Pierre Gauthier? Two guys that have never done anything to EARN the respect of players under neath them? What exactly are their credentials?

Tony Montana once said "The only thing in this world that gives orders, is balls". Time to put someone in charge who has BALLS, a reputation around the league that players actually respect. If I was a player on this team I'd probably roll my eyes at these clowns too.

Pretty sure that was a nice way of saying that Cammalleri shouldn't be a useless floater when he doesn't have the puck and I have a hard time believing vets are happy with the fact that Cammalleri is acting like a useless floater when he doesn't have the puck. If the vets are unhappy with a young guy saying things like "we need to actually try to win to board battles and play a team game", it's time to look in the mirror. Also, DD seemed happy to be playing with Leblanc.

And again going back to Damphousse's comments on Cammalleri, Cammy is known as one of the most miserable people in the league when things don't go his way, he tends to sulk and pout a lot. So maybe DD wanted to wake him up.

DD's right though, if he did say that word for word.

Cammy expects everyone to do all the work. He never hits anyone and he never forechecks. He doesn't deserve to be fed pucks if he doesn't work hard.

According to F. Gagnon, Emelin won't play with Subban.

Can we bring back Jean Perron?

DD is busting his arse off since the first game of the season. Let's not blame a guy who said what he really thought for once. He sets up the stage to cammy to prove the fans otherwise. Your turn cammy to answer. Not words, goals.

He'll play with Kaberle, still on his off-side.

Actually, Emelin should play on left side.

Maybe he could cut it in the KHL on the right side, but here, it just doesn't work very well.

I mean.... if you're a veteran like Kabs, you should be able to play on your off-side, non?

Well, DD just said on Sports 30 that he really, really liked to play with EC and MP...

Bravo RC, you just pissed one of the very few guys who gave it all from day 1.

Yeah, exactly, but Emelin plays on the right, on his off-side. He should play on the left.

He hasn't been anywhere close as good ever since they switched him sides and scratched him. It totally killed his edge and his enthusiasm.

Kaberle can barely play defense as it is, better play him on his good side. Asides, veterans can just nix those type of things if they don't want to do it. Spacek didn't want to play on his off-side, apparently, and I don't think he ever did.

But, had he played with Subban...
He would have played on the left side, no?

Might have him confused with Hamrlik.

As the story goes, the team wanted to pair Hammer and Spacek together and Spacegoat offered to play on his off-side as Hamrlik said he couldn't.
