Very encouraging game. Nice to see Cunney handle the young guys after sending them to the press box. One thing about JM that irked me is he never seemed to give guys a chance to prove themselves after they were in his dog house

Eller forward with most ice time. Subban d-man with most ice team. They both respond with a goal. Not bad.

Congrats RC on 1st NHL win. The boys played a very solid 3rd period. Sens never threatened. Great to see Cammy, Eller, Pleks & Subban score. Hopefully, we carry this over to our next 2 games, and go on a 3-game win streak to end Dec.

Also, thrilled that Campoli didn't play this game. It was nice not to see one of his major **** ups.

The only change I would make is to sit Gill. He may be a great guy and all, but he is just terrible on the ice.

The first of a very long winning streak??

Let's be real, that was a great effort, but Sens aren't a playoffs contender team (beside being 8th in East)...real test versus Florida! But very encouraging to see!

Kind of fitting Cunneyworth gets his first win against the team he captained...and during the year they celebrate of their 20th anniversary.

I've now convinced myself these are the real Habs, and I expect 6 goals every game now, don't let me down!

Meh, I dunno. These blowouts when one goalie falls apart early don't mean much one way or the other. And the Habs didn't play too hot early on before they built the big lead.

Of course the story will be how Cunneyworth's scratches and lineup changes keyed this win, but I think we need to give it another game. This one was open bar. Nothing wrong with that, the Habs are owed a few games like this really, but that doesn't necessarily mean the club's turned the corner yet.

Still, a bunch of monkeys got shoved off backs, so there's that.
