Voloshenko NHL debut?

Do you think that the team will call up Voloshenko from the AHL this season?

If they could pay him in rubles..like one per game...we're sooooo up against the cap, I don't know how we could afford him a look...

Seriously, your guess is as good as mine...probably at some point, especially if he keeps scoring in Houston.

Depends on how the Wild's season is going. I think they rather have O'Sullivan up and let Volo continue developing.

Me too. I imagine we'll see him next season, but for this one I don't expect he'll be called up.

Yup. That's why we're leading the NHL right now ... too many high priced superstars scoring bucketloads of goals, there's just no room for our young players to develop with the big club.

No need to rush Volo, I say keep him in Houston. We already have a couple of prematurely-developed players (*cough Bouchard Schultz cough*), we don't need anymore. Both O'Sullivan and Voloshenko should spend at least a full year in Houston, maybe more.

Agreement - look at the difference with someone like Koivu, who spent a couple years rounding out his game in Finland, came in here and plays every game. I don't want guys "developing" in the press box. Ice time, ice time, and more ice time, powerplay time, and a taste of leadership is a much better recipe.
