Anyway, in the past, I've gotten the impression that certain announcers and commentators on the network were more than a shade biased. Keith Jones and Beninati come to mind. At times it can lean towards being a home broadcast for the team the Rangers are playing, but that's just me I guess.

Ironically, the guy who I think tends to be the toughest but the most fair is Milbury.

Another Big Game. LGR!!

Probably.

I don't think this game starts at exactly 7:30. More like 7:40.

Really? I love listening to him call a game. If I can't get Sam and JD then he is easily my 2nd choice.

Doc's voice used to annoy me, now it's grown on me and I like listening to him call games, just as long as the Devils aren't playing.... Really enjoyed him during the playoffs this past season.

Agreed and people who hate Doc should be thankful that versus doesn't have Chico Resche or Mike Crapspino

Kenny Albert and Dave Maloney, although on radio, are excellent announcers.

I also prefer Howie Rose over Doc. Actually, pretty much anyone over him.

I like Kenny and loved Howie when he called Ranger games on the radio...would be happy with either one replacing Sam when he decides to hang em up

Can't stand either one...I hear people saying Doc over-dramatizes calls but he's got nothing on Thorne, plus Thorne calls the wrong player a lot and when he does get it right he has problem with hard names. Clement was ok as long as he wasn't covering a game the Flyers were playing.

This is exactly what I was looking forward to since last night, but add USA game.

Usa game, NYR game, NYK game...then 24/7 on DVR.

We gonna take this one with ease, 4-1 NYR.

I'm expecting a win here, not gonna lie. We're just flat out better than the Capitals.

4-1 Rangers.

if you want a laugh before game time - go read the devils around the NHL thread. They've been going on for about 5 pages about how the winter classic sucks and how goalie pads need to be reduced.

lol.
