Horrendous.

Only good tonight was Dubinsky. Biron was terrible. As was Boyle.

Just one of those "law of averages" games that happens every once in a while. Vokoun and Biron both looked bad tonight. Caps took advantage, Rangers didn't.

Wins in Florida and in the Winter Classic will put this one out of our minds pretty quickly.

LGR!

That's it. Maybe the 3rd to Hank for not being a part of this mess.

Can't win em all. Just gotta come back Friday against a strong Florida team.

Wrote down on a post it today at 3:00 PM that the Rangers would only score 1 goal in a loss. Marty was due for a loss and too much praise was being heaped on the Rangers recently. Always coincides with a loss.

This is a bad game, and that's all you can chalk it up to. Bad game.

Goaltending could have been better. Our PP could have been better. Defense could have been better. The list goes on and on.

On a positive note, Dubinsky played a solid game in my opinion. Cally played a solid game overall. Gaborik had a quiet night. Richards didn't play too hot.

We will be better in the next game.

This is a good hockey team. A really good hockey team. We need to get Richie going, though. Bring on W2

Good teams lose games.

Disappointing, but it is what it is. I'd rather it be against the Caps then the Flyers in the WC.

Definitely one to forget. Had to lose sooner or later.

Starting to see signs of the D slipping...3rd pairing did not cut it tonight and MDZ-Stralman were not much better.

Good: Dubi, Cally, Girardi
Bad: Turnovers, WHY IS OUR PP SO BAD?
Redden: Whoever started the MDZ for Norris thread on the main board

Cally and Dubinsky played well tonight.

Richards was horrific. He looked like he was drunk. He should burn this game tape. Him vacating the point on the PP at the end of the game for no apparent reason was a nice way end his night. Smart player who played really dumb tonight. It happens.

Biron was a human trampoline tonight. Just didn't have it. Fighting the puck all night.

Ugly game. Forget about this one and move on.

Losing is a huge part of the game. Fans of every team on this site would do well to remember that.

Still, the Caps came to play. Fair credit to them, especially Laich and Semin.

Exactly.

We've had 3 5 game win streaks. We're going to lose eventually.

Beat the Flyers.

PP 0 for 5 with near 0 opportunities + crappy effort by most = loss.
