Lombardi should slap himself for keeping Terry Murray for as long as he did. We look like a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT team with Sutter behind the bench.
Murray and Sutter started coaching in the NHL during the same era.. in 1989 and 1992 respectively.
The similarities stop there. Sutter has changed with the times. Terrance never did.
Murray's system relied on lucky bounces.. Cycle the puck around the wall and throw a thousand shots on the net from the blue line hoping for a redirection or rebound.
Sutter system: ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK. HIT everything in sight and backcheck your ass off.. Hunter's goal was possible because there were 3 guys who crashed the net hungry for the puck. With Terrance's system.. Hunter aka the F3 or whatever the **** that **** was called would have been in the neutral zone waiting for Chicago to skate back with the puck and hope they would turn it over.
None of that crap with Sutter behind the realm. you dont wait for the other team to mishandle the puck. You get on their ass and force them to turn it over and start the rush.
All you have to look at in the last couple games is how involved our dmen have been on the scoresheet.. how our captain is hitting everything in sight.. and how many damn good quality scoring chances weve had.

hahah yeah there's bound to be moronic fans like myself that enjoy and think drugs are cool!
Quick has won me over, now i just want the Kings to play Bernier to build his stock up. Quick is the guy we're gonna live or die with and im okay with it, i trust him
B. Brad Richardson and Trevor Lewis, all they can do is skate mindlessly as fast as humanly possible and pretty soon they're going to be skating really fast either in Manchester or after being waived onto another NHL club.
Post of the day!

Yes, I would. Richard's SO&PS % in last 3 seasons is something like 2/20 = 10%. Besides, you can kill some time by having a PP against one of the worst PK teams in the league.
