yeah but just because one goalie was crappier than the other doesn't men the other goalie wasn't crappy. He can't let in a softie at that point in the game thus he has to be better.

Had he started the game, chances are, we get out with at least a point. Reimer dug us into a huge hole.

ok well I'm not saying HE was crappy it was just a figure of speech. He shouldn't be letting in a soft goal at a key point in the game so yes he SHOULD be better.

Typical Leafs goaltending for years, but I'm sure we can find a way to blame the defence and/or Wilson's system.

Yeah, keep blaming the thing that changes every year and not what's been the same year after year.

First goal on Reimer was a tip in when Lupul fails to clear the puck when he had it, second was on a breakaway, and the third crabb leaves Garrison wide open for a one timer when Florida moves the puck far left to right.

I don't think anyone is blaming Reimer for the first goal, but the second and third were weak, unscreened shots that most goalies would have had. It's not like Thomas made a great move, he just lost the puck. Similarly, Reimer had lots of time to get across for Garrison's shot, which went right through his five hole. Just look at Reimer's reaction after both goals.

I disagree for the third one, watching the replay in the game in 6, as Florida passes the puck to their point man, one guy moves in front of Reimer and screens him, Reimer Looks over to right of player in front and as he was doing so, a pass was made to Garrison wide open, there's little chance for Reimer to get back in time for that. Florida did a good job job screening Reimer and our players left Garrison wide open.

To be clear, a breakaway where the player never shot the puck.....

Talk to any goalie. That is arguably the hardest move to stop.

It was a fluke goal, they happen.

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.

reimer gets a free pass on on a tip in goal (first goal), while its Jonas fault when the pucks was tipped in by gunnar on the fleismann goal? WTFFFFF

Like WTFFF???

Though Jonas clearly did stop 2 or 3 tip in attempts in that game.
