I'd say Bachman will get more starts than Raycroft would have both overall and down the stretch, and will win more as well.
Maybe the injury was a blessing in disguise...
Not to be a grouch, but what happens if Lehtonen goes down again? Is Besko able to fill in in a pinch? That is of course provided Razor is picked up. I wish he wasn't having such a down year, for his sake and our's. He could be out of a job permanently here pretty soon if he doesn't turn it around.

Raycroft isn't coming back, even if he had a tremendous year. He is not part of our future, he was only to back up Kari for 2 years. Bachman is basically a lock to be our backup next year, while Besko and Campbell battle it out in the AHL.

I think his question is what happens if Raycroft is claimed and then Lehtonen get injured again? At that point who backs up Bachman? It's an interesting question, but one I don't think the Stars will have to answer. I really can't see anyone claiming Raycroft.
Well if Raycroft gets claimed, and sometime during the season Kari get's injured (knock on wood) thats when we go out and sign MARY TURCO or Tobias Stephan!!!

If Kari goes down for any extended period of time you call up Besko, trade superfluous veterans, see what we've got with the young goalies, and gear up for next year and the offseason. What's one more year not being in the playoffs if it comes down to it...
