Marek Tvrdoň..Stilll in WHL?

Hello Giants/WHL fans.
Am curious to know what happened to Marek Tvrdoň?
Was looking at the prospects coming through for the Draft, and he is listed as playing for Vancouver, yet I cant see him on the current roster?
Is he injured or did he return back to Slovakia?
Many Thanks

Thank you so much for the prompt reply.
So, although his season ended in November, he still remains one of the Euro spots on the Giants though?
Been swotting for the Draft and I saw him listed, and I thought "who??"
lol
Have you seen him play? His numbers, granted in limited games look pretty good for a rookie. Does he have that Slovakian flair?

i saw him play at least once earlier this year. He looked VERY good for a euro getting used to a new team and North American hockey. i heard rumblings early on that he could sneak into the 1st or 2nd rounds of the draft this year, now he will be a great mid-round pick for someone.

There is a chance he could return to the Giants line up when the playoffs start. He was very impressive at the start of the season prior to the injury. And with him only being 17 the Giants certainly aren't going to drop him from their list even if he does miss the entire season. He'll be a key player next season.

Think he's leaving to play with Lev of the KHL.

I highly doubt that. Where did you hear this?

Yeah, right, only if you believe every lie that Levīs coach says.

http://www.hokejportal.sk/?q=clanok/...k-tvrdon/33987

He says he has a three year contract with Giants, so heīs staying there. And also that he has his eyes set on the NHL draft and his dream is the NHL and the KHL is only a possibility down the road somewhere in the distant future if the NHL doesnīt work out.

He technically doesn't have a "contract" with the Giants. He just has three years of junior eligibility remaining. Either way, the Giants still have him listed on their roster, and will likely be a big piece for the Giants this season.

Greetings frm England.
Really intrigued by Tvordon...he looks like he has came back and means business!
Would love to hear more about him, scouting reports ect.
Who would he compare too....he has some great sped and wheels I gather?

Also, was wondering about a Giants Prospect.
Alexander Kuvayev.
He had a great start to his WHL season with 10 goals in the first 20 games, before falling fowl with the coaches, and having his ice time radicaly cut (and an end to my interest in the slumping team)
I have seen him pop up this week on KHL Dynamos Roster, and , upon further research, found him listed on the WHL Vancouver Giants Roster???
I see that he is seeing duty in Russia, but I was not aware of his rights being "moved?"
Many Thanks
Jd

Kuvaev hasn't played for the Giants this year, but their management is trying to get him over.

As for Tvrdon, he's second in scoring on the team with 14 goals and 37 points.

Hiya Giants fans!
Just saw that you did get Kuvaev over afterall.
I tuned into a lot of Hurricanes games last year via the internet, and thought he was great---and was quite perplexed that Lethbridge went sour on him.
Would love to hear how he fares...I am especially intrigued at the thought of him and the other big Euro Tvrdon being a real handfull.
Please do, let me know what you think.
