They shouldn't have blown the whistle that fast anyway. It was a goal that the refs almost screwed us of. Luckily Wyman has his first nhl goal. 4th line deserved that. They were showing life out there.

I wasn't listening - how did the refs explain it? Intent to blow the whistle after the actual whistle?

On my stream it looked like the puck crossed the line simultaneously with the whistle. Could've been audio/video delay though.

Exactly, one team was going to be screwed either way. Plus the war-room owes us a ton.

Price should have had that easily anyway, that's who Hab fans should really be pissed at.

Wyman's goal in slo mo looks like it deserves the whistle. Don't feed the trolls, SunSports.

We got jipped with the quick whistle first, sorry.

Ok, so apparently they were just checking if the puck crossed the line entirely.

At 17:38 of the second period in the Canadiens/Lightning game, video review upheld the referee's call on the ice that Lightning forward JT Wyman's shot completely crossed the goal line. Good Goal Tampa.

But the referees call on the ice wasn't a good goal...

But they reviewed it, and Toronto saw the blue and white sweaters, and decided it was a good goal.

Yeah, apparently because they thought the puck didn't completely cross the line.

It looks like that whistle was never blown.

Proof that MAB sucks. He can't get back on the bench without incident.

SunSports, what's with your poll? I've got a question for you to put up next game:

Quote:
What is the largest NHL arena?

TB1) Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay Times Forum (19,758)
TB2) Detroit - Joe Louis Arena (20,066)
TB3) Montreal - Bell Center (21,273)
TB4) Chicago - United Center (19,717)

Anyone else chuckle at MAB spazzing out a little on the plays of the game segment?

Kings, Canucks and Jets (x2) scouts were also at the Bolts/Flyers game. Ok, the obvious guesses are Bernier and Schneider but what's the deal with Winnipeg's two scouts?

Edit: From the Habs' GDT:
Here's the link about Weber. Seems we would get Weber and Campoli would go to the Sharks or us.

Google translated:

Quote:
A few hours of dual Canadian-Lightning, many rumors send the young defenseman Yannick Weber in the locker room with the opposite cast of Guy Boucher.

Chris Campoli could replace or accompany this possible transaction. His name is also circulating a rumor sending it to San Jose in exchange for draft picks.

For now, no player has been named the Lightning, but certainly Steve Yzerman is looking for a defender able to move immediately into the big league.

Florida relies on training only eight defenders with a professional contract, two (Hedman and Ohlund) now find themselves on the sidelines.

Weber, 23, has 82 games of experience in the Canadiens uniform since the beginning of his career, he was a third-round pick of the team in 2007.

The right-handed defenseman, a native of Morges, Switzerland, has 11 points, including three goals in 33 games this season. He will earn $ 850 000 until the end of his contract, which expires in the summer of 2013.

The Helvetian watched the last game of his from the bridge Tuesday night and should do the same Thursday night.

Signed just days before the start of the regular season, Campoli, 27, has participated in only seven games in the tri-color uniform, scoring one goal.

In the first game of the season in Toronto, he had injured a hamstring muscle and was therefore forced to miss nearly two months of activity.

Campoli was also removed from training after a difficult encounter (-3) against the Jets on December 22. It involves a contract of $ 1.75 million for the 2011 season.

Toronto might have realized the Leafs weren't playing the Habs, and will now take retaliatory action.

Yes. NO ONE TELL TORONTO.

Unless it's a case of "the Leafs, and whoever is playing the Habs."
