Sounded like Anze said "Hi, I'm Anze, aka Tommy..." during the father dinner piece. Anyone know if that's his nickname?

Who cares that they boo? I'm glad they do, our top players need to learn to deal with the pressure.

The Kings are 4-0-1 during Doughty's assist streak. Doughty is probably the only Kings' player they know.

Weathering the storm is just fine on the road. 0-0 after 20 is also fine. We're the tired team and the Kings are holding their own. Bernier has been terrific so far.

So what happened to the Thrashers/Jets forum? Did Thrashers fans just leave the board while Winnipeg fans were signing up?

Even more so when Winnipeg is one of the best offenses in the 1st period

Someone needs to plant Kane to start the second period. Unfortunately I don't think we have anyone that can do it.

Regarding Winnipe cheering (and booing). From my point of view (as Euro) this is the way how home supporters should cheers for their team. It gives extra boost and energy to home team.

I'm sorry but although most Kings home games are sold out, the atmosphere is most of the time the same as they would play infront of empty hall. Maybe you can seek here the main reason why Kings record at home is as it is and Jets record at their home is so much better and why for the Kings doesen't matter if they play at home or away.

Lots of the Peg fans have been here for a long time, either following other teams (including posting about the Moose on AHL forum or Canucks forum), or just talking about hockey on the general forum, or on the Business board making their case that they deserved a team in Winnipeg. The Thrasher fans either converted and stuck with the franchise, found another team, stopped following hockey, or just talk about hockey in general on the NHL Talk forum or Business board.

Considering how late the got in and it's back to back I'll take a point or even a close loss honestly.

It's the 2nd night of a back to back and the players didn't get to bed until 4AM. It's not surprising.

We're starting a new streak of sub 3 goal-games.

As much as self-important fans like to believe this, its simply not true. These are professional elite athletes - a crowd chant has no effect on their performance.

Jack did the right thing making that hit and going for the takedown to avoid the beatdown. AWESOME hit.

Such bullsh!t that Kane has been running around throwing checks (all have been clean), but when Johnson delivers a clean hit, he has to go instigate a fight against him. And I really like Evander Kane too.
