We had an almost full two minutes on the 5 on 3 and....nothing. What the heck is going on? Our lack of scoring has gone from disappointing to really freaking weird. Like, it doesn't make sense to me.
Eh, ****** power play but otherwise it wasn't awful. They've had a 5 games in 8 days, played a great game against Chicago last night and then got in to Winnipeg at 4 AM. They got a point out of the game tonight and that's better than nothing.
Jack Johnson and Drew Doughty were flat out awful tonight. Jack and his half-assed pinch allowed the Jets to get that odd-man break in overtime. Both of them couldn't pass the puck worth ****, and their reads on pretty much every single play out there tonight was just embarrassing. I can't get over how bad both of them were.
Trevor Lewis has 1 point in 28 games this season, and Brad Richardson has 3 points in 28 games, yet these two play top 6 roles on our team. And we wonder why we can't score?
We just need that high octane winger that knows not to grip his stick too tight and always ensure to pick the right spots when shooting on goal. Hopefully Dean gets the job done this deadline/offseason.

This. The team was clearly gassed. Powerplay was awful...but the travel was far worse.
The most confounding thing about this organization is that we haven't had a single forward come up from Manchester worth a **** in 5 years. Loktionov was supposed to be scoring help and he's been abysmal to be honest. We have an organizational philosophy based on building from within without anything coming from within. I don't get it.
Trevor Lewis is complete garbage. It blows my mind that he gets paid to play professional hockey as a forward and can't score goals. I literally can't remember the last goal he scored. Was it in 2009?
