Good on the Murray's, Cleassan has also looked good and he should be in line for a ocntract soon - I've been impressed with him.

Stone's already signed.

This gives them solid motivation to follow through with those New Year's resolutions.

Good timing.

Good to see, now let's draft a good two way centre to play in the middle of these two, like Gaunce maybe.

Don't know why people are questioning the timing of the signings. Would you rather wait till the last minute and have to trade them or lose them for nothing?

He's still serving his suspension, right?

We should have a glut being signed actually come post trade deadline. I fully expect to have Ben Blood, Shane Prince, Jean Gabriel Pageau, Darren Kramer all signed. Not sure but maybe Culek, Aneloski, Sorensen, Wideman, and Sdao.

i dont think people are questioning. I know i wasn't. I think people are just more curious as to what the incentive is to signing guys that are more then likely going to ride out their Junior time, and more than likely a year or 2 in the AHL

The only incentive i see, is to have it so that by the time they are done junior at age 20, then 2 year in the AHL that leaves their final year on the ELC as their first year in the NHL. This way, they can sign the year after for moderately cheap.

IDK, i could be way off, maybe someone has the "answer"

Both guys have been just alright. Just over ppg but no big step over last year.

Stefan Noesen's stats are identical to JT Miller in Plymouth yet Miller makes the USA team.

Stats come last in the hierarchy of USA's criteria consisting of...

1. On ice-play
2. Politics (Allegiance to "The Program")

3. Statistics.

Seriously though, the faster you stop rating players performance based purely on offensive numbers, the better.

Shane Prince agree's with this post.

Politics come first though it would appear with the US junior team.

Agreed.

I was fortunate enough to watch Nasen on Team 1200 this year and was extremely impressed.
