I wouldn't go that far. Do you remember when we had Brashear? Or even Booagaard(rip) last year? Both weren't even close to being as effective as Prust. Prust is probably in consideration for the best 4th liners in the game

Yeah I love the big guys who their tails off. It's unfortunate that he's been injured early in the year, but even looking at HBO his teammates and coach love him. Every team needs a character guy like him.

I remember him vaguely for this goal unfortunately:

Let's throw Christensen back in the next game against the cats on the opening face off to throw a sucker punch at kopecky and we can truly be done with him.

Perfect game following a loss.

Perfect.

The Winter Classic is such a joke. Screw the hoopla. Get two points and prepare for some tough games coming up.

What was up with Joe tonight...suffering from sun poisoning down in FL? I actually thought he was drunk during the broadcast. Said someone was the straw that keeps the drink together or something equally ridiculous. And that was just the beginning. Strange stuff.

Of course I remember it. They didn't do the job they were supposed to. I never wanted Brashear because nobody wanted that useless bum. Who knows what was going on with Boogaard. But the other guys I mentioned stepped up and got revenge on those who deserved it.

Last year Prust was one of the best 4th liners. Not this year. Not by a mile. He hasn't been scoring. Hasn't been a penalty killing force, and worst of all, fights when it's good for the other team and not the Rangers. And he can't kick ass like Rupp can.

Yeah Prust has been somewhat underwhelming this year. Not bad, but not especially good.

I'm not nuts about the cross check MDZ threw.

You want to drop 'em with somebody, you drop the gloves. You don't throw a gloved punch to somebody from behind.

I love what Rupp did. Good on Torts having Prust and Rupp out there for the end of the game to keep **** like that together.

You've never heard the phrase "the straw that stirs the drink?" He was talking about Weiss and how he's the key player that makes his line go. There's nothing strange about saying that.
