He just was just lucky. His overall game was awful.. How can't you see it? Just count the turnovers.
I NEVER SAID HIS OVERALL GAME WASN'T BAD FOR ****'s SAKE! His job is to score goals and no matter how he does it, he's doing his job. He isn't a grinder. I can't understand how Pulkkinen can get away with being lazy and bad defensively, but when Armia does it Finns demand him to be crucified. Guy like Pulkkinen isn't even good enough to get in to that position of scoring those "lucky goals" because he's too slow.
Armia used his speed to break loose and put those pucks in the net. Most guys aren't skilled player/good enough skaters to do that.
I think people have been too hard on Armia. He finishes his checks atleast.. he is just very lanky right now. He is weak on the walls, but he should be able to get some muscle mass pretty easily.. he weighs the same as smurf Salomäki for gods sake.
At 6'4 he should be able to be decent enough on the walls when he is full grown all the way..
Little translation of the little interview since I am bored.

I like Armia, he is one of my favourite players but i dont know why he always looks so lazy. I know he is trying, but for some reason it seems like he isnt playing with that big of a heart (for example compare him to Salomaki). He has all the tools to even become PPG player in the NHL IMO. But, for that to happen he needs to realize that hockey is more of a will's game than how well you can deke.
Im satisfied with his overall performance so far in this tournament, but i think he could do just so much more. Its a shame that player with that size and skillset misses something this important.
He isnt going to change, he will always be offense first guy who sometimes lacks the effort, but i hope he will improve in that area regardless.
I think he comes of looking like lazy because of his laid back style. Hes player who is invisible at times but makes the difference when needed and suddenly out of nowhere.
one thing to notice, he has been raising playing tempo game by game whole tournament.. was almost active tonight

you watched the shootout, right? had to give Armia big respect as being underaged but not underachiever, i never thought he was that bad on canada game, like anyone tried to show up on that time on that team looked just out of place.
