That was a disgrace. I thank god everyday that team didn't win the Cup.

We wouldn't want young players wanting to learning to insult the game of hockey because they saw a team do everything wrong and win.

Just a pathetic team filled with pathetic players.

Things are setting up nicely for us. The Kings schedule for the month of January is pretty favorable.

1/2 Colorado
1/5 Phoenix
1/7 Columbus
1/9 Washington (We usually beat them)
1/12 Dallas
1/14 @Calgary
1/15 @Edmonton
1/17 @Vancouver
1/19 Calgary
1/21 Colorado
1/23 Ottawa

Lots of winnable games with 8 out 11 at home. Only one back-to-back game.

Nice complete games by the kings. If van doesn't figure out how to play against rough teams. They are going no where. Bruins , sharks, kings have exposed a weakness.

I feel bad for the Canucks; they are the only team consistently persecuted by the refs.

Either way, very fitting the year ends for them like the last season ended for them. Allowing 4 goals to a team they were confident in beating, and holding their heads in defeat.

That was really nice of the Kings to invite the Kings' dads. Didn't they have the moms the other time?

Yeah, considering we had an extended break after the Euro trip.

Every team does this now. It is something that the teams can do for the players but doesn't count as "pay". The CBA has really strict rules as to what you can give a player but both sides have decided to ignore these parent trips. It is nice for the players and good PR for the teams.

YOU TAKE THAT BACK

I know for a fact that Santa Claus exists. Go to North Pole Alaska and you can sit in his lap.

As for the other three you are right.

I apologize.

No. It's was a beautiful thing... they got so close and then they were crushed! It's awesome.

It was the only time as a New Englander that I was hoping the Bruins would win.

LOL! Nick Nickson is cracking on the Canucks fans right now! Caller asked why Canuck fans are always so obnoxious? Nickson said they must go koo-koo whenever they see the sun!

Whats with fans of Canadian teams and that sense of entitlement?

Perhaps our Canadian Kings fans can shed some light on this.

two of my favorite comments in their GDT were about how we're the whiniest team and how one poster was really impressed with luongo's play while giving up four goals (something about how it was his best game while giving up 4 goals in a long time). idk man

Didn't know HNIC posted their full games on their site for viewing. Their coverage is pretty good. The broadcasters are really decent. That woman is pretty darn good, best I have ever heard cover a professional sport, very impressed. I also like the additional camera angles and you can hear the players more on the ice when they are brawling and chirping.

Cassie Campbell played for Team Canada women's Olympic hockey team for many years. She understands hockey, but I think her broadcasting needs a lot of work.

If you have some time check out the Toronto Winnipeg game called by Jim Hughson. He's the best pbp guy on CBC.
