Unless the next Fla/Ranger game is one sided the incident is closed. Both sides extracted a bit of revenge so there is nothing more to accomplish. I suspect any further altercations stemming from this past weeks incident will be met with harsher penalties Who exactly will benefit?
Rupp definitely took offense. He hammered Kopecky and I believe that MDZ's "awful" crosscheck was a combination of dirty play and bad luck, Kopecky was crouched. Kopecky is definitely at fault here.
Will be interesting to see the next game between us..
MDZ and Kopecky both crosschecked each other. Kopecky started to do it then MDZ did it back and accidentaly ''slipped'' or what you wanna call it and slided towards Kopecky's head and knocked the helmet off. I don't think that MDZ did it intentual.
I thought that since it wasn't intentual and Kopecky swinged at MDZ (blindsided him like a little girl) he should've got an suspension.
I loved how Rupp stood up for his teammate.
I'm okay with the sentence though. Now Kopecky should think about being a healthy scratch when they meet again next week. I'm looking forward to it.
Rupp will crush him haha. Oh well anyways... good win from us. Number 1 in Eastern Conference, yeah baby!
It pretty amusing how you rag on the Avery fans but almost all of your posts have to do with...Avery... Who's really "obsessed" with him? Looks to me someones trying desperately to throw the hint off a certain trail...
NHL messed up big time with this ruling, can't say I'm surprised though. It's obvious that without the sucker punch there would be no fines. That alone makes this wrong.

Any guesses on what torts will be fined? Is the limit for coaches the same as for players?
