I hate being two hours ahead of my timetable and having to sit around twiddling my thumbs until 8 AM.

Just found out that the house I am renting is being foreclosed on. I hope it's a mistake. If not, it begs the question; Where has our rent money been going?

That's a tad disturbing.

I mentioned one time back in the summer I needed a new wallet. My mom somehow heard this, remembered it, and today I got this.

Very cool, congrats! Should be a great conversation starter when you pull it out...

Question for the techies:
If there's a stream if the winter classic today, do those typically work on iPhones or iPod touches?

I'm stuck at work today and want to watch but would rather not use my work computer so I've got my iPod touch and we've got wifi..

Thanks in advance!

Probably for their rent/mortgage payment, electricity and food. :/

You should probably start looking around.

I doubt it. Flash doesn't work on iDevices.

Does anyone have a remedy for lower back pain besides a heating pad and alcohol? I have none of the former and some of the latter, but tomorrow morning I have a feeling the pain will persist while the alcohol will cease to exist.

Doan's Pills
Lots of water
Stretching exercises
Ibuprofen (3 at a time, but only 1 or 2 times in a day)
Warm shower
Warm bath with epsom salts
Left over meds from dental work (what?)

Older you get the more remedies you have at hand. ;-)

Doan's pills I have never heard of so I will check it out.

Stretching I do every morning to no avail

Ibuprofen I took tonight (my gf recommended four, I took three because I like what is left of my liver.)

Warm shower everyday

Warm bath tomorrow, though likely minus the epsom salts because I have none.

How much you sellin' those leftovers for? (kidding)

Thank you!

Here's a dandy for any ATL fans. This guy dogs the sports fans in that town pretty bad.

Stretching and exercise I get plenty of honestly. It isn't a chronic issue luckily, but every now and then after several days of heavy lifting, bending over, and the typical rigors of work it will bother me for a few days. I took some generic ibuprofen last night (600mg), but it really didn't help. I dunno... it feels ok today. I guess stretching and rest are the biggest keys.

So... because this guy's opinion is that Atlanta has terrible sports fans the team itself shouldn't be "allowed" to win? What a joke of a writer.

heat and stretch. I sleep on a hard bed myself for my back. Now that I'm off my death schedule I can get back into my workout and lose the flab. Maybe try healthywage.com

Haha I would try that, but I'm actually trying to put on about ten more pounds right now

I'm 6'1" 170ish. In a few days I'll have a decent chunk of money coming in so I can get back to the diet and workout routine that I was doing from June until about October (heavy lifting, cardio for cool downs, straight cardio twice a week [2-3 mile runs], and HIGH intake of calories and protein). Thanks for the suggestion though!

More protein and water. Remember, the human body needs water to break down protein to make it usable. (hydrolysis). I'm going to my homemade kettlebelles. need to add some squats and might hit the rink for some skating.
