The writing is on the wall already : PK subban will be traded for a pile of steaming crap, become a superstar elsewhere and all of sudden Hfboards will fall in love with the kid.

I'm surprised the story wasn't:

Pk Subban and Tomas Plekanec got into a fist fight at practice this morning. Habs players stopped the scrimmage and Gorges almost stepped in until they realized neither could fight and then resumed practicing.

This is so true. When is the last time we saw a player fight in a game because of overwhelming intensity? Or simply to defend a teamate? Or even more simply by plain frustration?

I believe this team must be break up. It doesn't have the right makeup.

I LOVE Subban's skills and enthousiasm. But I wouldn't be surprise if he ended up traded. It is not the first time other players have words with him, and coaches seem to have to repeat the same things over and over again. I just hope they won't trade him 1 or 2 years too soon. But if he lands the team that elusive big and dominant first line center, I'm all for it.

Nothing more than fierce competitors frustrated with themselves and other teammates.

This seems to be frequent with the habs. Even worse is almost none of them take their frustration out in a fight in a game.

I think PK treats practice like an actual game. Some players don't like that. I wish we had more guys like Pleks and Subban who play with intensity and play hard for 60 minutes.

I agree with that. Fight in pratctice happens quite often.

But how come that intensity and/or frustration never comes up in a game?

If you try and co-operate with a **** on a daily/weekly/monthly basis... this is what can happen...

The question is which guy is the ****?

As long as they respect each other, then no problem.

I agree here. I also think it won't be PK that goes. He's not even 23 and has a lot to learn but is already a top 4 D logging tons of minutes. Tons of blue sky ahead and when he matures will be a force in the league. Guys like Plecs and Cammy have hit their ceiling and we are still not winning.

I doubt the issue is about these guys specifically. They are but the latest symptoms of the illness.

"The basic concept behind the establishment of the pecking order among, for example, chickens, is that it is necessary to determine who is the 'top chicken,' the 'bottom chicken' and where all the rest fit in between. The establishment of the dominance hierarchy is believed to reduce the incidence of intense conflicts that incur a greater expenditure of energy"

Wow you can't be serious just try to imagine what our defense would look like without him... Seems like you forgot what he brought to this team these past 2 seasons. Seriously...

Better trade Subban and his "bad attitude" for Janne Niinimaa Ryan Whitney before the team goes on a poor stretch of form because of this .

This season is just turning into a huge joke. Dissapointing, on paper we shouldn't be a lottery pick team. Hopefully things will get better next year.

Not sad. Just reality. Isn't it the best way to win a fight? To fight one Montreal Canadian?

Oh and how come nobody talks NOW about Subban being a cancer? Or do you wait till he's traded so that we can praise Mr. Gauthier, or call Subban trade an addition by substraction and all sorts of stupidities like that?

People say fighting in practice might be a good thing but why Subban seems to be always involved in them?
