It's amazing how pathetic flyers fans become everytime they lose to us. They literally transform into women who are in ultimate PMS mode. Just start making up ridiculous things and yelling all over the place
I've never truly understood the logic behind the hook and dive call. I really have no idea how you can call and hook and dive when there's an empty net and the player has more to lose by diving than he does not diving.
He didn't get called for diving, he got called for holding the stick. Instead of shrugging away the stick on his shoulder, he grasped onto it. I thought that was a deserved call, even if they screwed up a few others.
(like the holding and interference when the Flyers guys were holding Boyle and Hagelin away from the puck 15-20 feet away on two separate occasions, Hagelin through the middle and Boyle along the boards)
You know they were **** when you complain about them even though we won that call on Callahan was the worst call I have ever seen, was screaming at the TV
that was awful, but just as awful a flyer player blatantly shoves mcd into the net and mcd gets a delay of game penalty lol, sooo stupid!

OK, I had two WTF calls in the 3rd period:
1) The van Riemsdyk interference on McDonagh that they called delay of game on McD
2) The hook on Gaborik by Timonen
It sure seemed like they wanted to give the Flyers all of the help that they would need.
It still wasn't enough.
This Ranger team has got to be in the Flyers' heads so badly right now. No Flyer lead is safe when they're playing the Rangers.
After enduring the late-90s/early-00's, I so love this team.

Reason: Not embellishment on Callahan

Thanks for the clarification.
Overall, I thought it was an awful game. No flow. The ice was terrible. The fact it was impossible to string more than two passes together made the game sloppy. And NBC experimenting with camera angles was a disgrace.
GWG just narrowly trumps a great game from Boyle (big hits, great puck cycling and several huge faceoff wins in the 3rd) and Prust who was very direct and made 2 solid passes on Rupper's goals.

The Callahan hold was the right call after seeing the replay. The McD delay of game was absolutely ridiculous. The Gaborik breakaway I was okay with, since they were letting the guys play all game, but I saw nothing on the replay to suggest that McD covered the puck and philly deserved a penalty shot. Just ridiculous, the NHL should be embarrassed by some of the things we just saw.
