Box Score says he only played 7:09 in the whole game with 0 shots and he was -1 on the +/-.

Where do I start about the Winter Classic? The refs were horrible. Missed the interference on Bourdon by Douchebunsky and the push on Simmonds into the boards. And Briere? What type of move was that on the penalty shot?!? You have about 1,000 and that's the crappy one you pick! UGH! Just angry. I blame Bob on the 2nd goal but not the 1st and 3rd. Mez didn't come up on that idiot Rupp on that goal. Giroux was covering air behind the net on Richard's goal when he should have been up in front of the net.

It absolutely was a bad call, because just because the puck is out of sight for a split second doesnt mean you should blow the whistle. Refs and quick whistles is one of the absolutely most obnoxious things in this league at times. Theres absolutely no reason to not wait a moment to make sure the play isnt continuing

The guy was standing on the opposite side of the net for ****s sake. Obviously he wont see it over there. In that case he should submit to the guy out at the blue line.

IMO, Lavy was out coached kind of like the Boston series last year.

3 Things to consider:

1-Maybe this is the time that Bryz is sat down by Lavy and says no more cameras it's time to play hockey.

2-There is no grit on both ends of the ice, the guy who everyone wanted traded is once again one of the best players on the ice.

3-Simmonds, Talbot, Sesito 4th Line.
2- This team has some problems, grit isn't one of them.
Simmonds, Hartnell, Rinaldo, Z, Talbot, Schenn even Voracek, Read, Giroux and Couturier add some.

you people expect everyone to be a *****ing claude giroux, get real
And Briere is also on the ice for a ton of goals. He needs to put up way more than 50 points a season to make up for all the goals he's on the ice for when the opposition scores!

1:33.

Such a shame this kid can't get more ice-time. He is so responsible defensively, and could be doing alot more offensively with some quality linemates. And was solid in the faceoff circle tonight - as was Schenn - on a team that is notoriously weak at faceoffs.

Rangers fan coming in peace: Just wanted to say that Hartnell was an absolute beast out there, and even though I'm obligated to despise him, I deep down admire his game.

I like that type of player that you know will be an absolute warrior come playoff time and Hartnell seems exactly that.

What pisses me off the most- they stop playing in the third. They did not show a back bone till about 5 minutes left.

Mez was good, Lilja was his usual self.
We got what we are used to, with those two.

Timonen wasn't sharp, Bourdon struggled.

Urgh, the more this settles in the more it irritates me. We just got ****ing humiliated on our own ice in front of the nation.

****ing spineless ********, you choose this game of all games to choke in the third? You haven't done it all season but you choose this one?!

Are some people seriously thinking Jagr was benched? He had a fantastic first period, what on earth do you think he did to get benched?

There are tons of problems with this team that are catching up to them. Goaltending, defence, and having a one line team, rookies starting to hit a wall, horrible defensive forwards. Any time the Briere line is out there the opposition must be licking their chops because he's so bad defensively. Giroux is trying but he's not there.

Yep... that 1st one was soft as heck. Guy with a decent shot is sitting in the middle of the ice from about 15 feet out and a lumbering defenseman is standing about 7 feet from your goalie and is moving backwards screening him even worse.

And then that guy lets a shot go that is just barely inside the post...

DEFINITELY A SOFT GOAL.

Briere has sucked this season. Briere shows up for a week or two every year in the playoffs and scores some goals. Rest of the time he's an overall negative playing ****** defense and scoring 50-60 pts on a monster contract

Mez stunk. He turned the puck over horribly multiple times and he played the first goal like a moron

Everyone should remember where this team was going into the season. When it was predicted to be a middle-of-the-pack team with wild inconsistencies/unpredictability.

This is exactly that team. Did anyone really think we were really a 1st place quality team? We're not Boston or the Rags or anyone of that caliber. Our goaltending is relative **** and our defensive play is highly disappointing.

If Lilja is on the starting lineup come playoff time we are going to get curb stomped, plain and simple.

Hopefully this game/his goal can get Schenn going cause I still have faith that he will be very good player for us within the next 3 yrs.

with that said Bryz needs to get his head out of his @ss and work hard cause otherwise it will be a long 9 years.

overall whatever i guess cause its only 2 pts but those 2 pts can come back to bite us and while it was just a regular season game it still really sucks to loose especially to the rags.

Is anyone else frightened by this teams complete inability to adjust to other teams defensive systems?

His play on Callahan in the first was awesome, he was active in the o-zone.
He hasn't looked very good on the first goal, yes. Some might say the goalie could save that shot, though.

#6 defensemen suck, it's the way it is. If they didn't suck, they wouldn't be #6 defensemen.
