I did not think our D was that bad. I mean we had some breakdowns here and there but it was not horrible and I thought we had solid 2 periods. Goaltending stunk. Just freaking disgrace. I was expecting Briere to step up but he did not. I mean he has A on his jersey and makes a lot of money. Got to be able to provide something.

Unless he could see it but called it dead anyway, it isn't really a bad call.
Which calls were bad exactly?

Kimmo got the stick up on Callahan's body (legal), but it wasn't actually hooked @ all. Callahan wanted to get the call so he grabbed a hold of it so Kimmo couldn't dislodge it and pull it out.

That was an excellent call by the referee.

The ref was also in perfect position to call the hand over puck in the crease. Just because there wasn't a camera angle definitively showing it doesn't mean it didn't happen and the ref didn't see it.

The delay of game penalty was terrible. But IMO, that was the only one. JVR blatantly pushed the Rag into the goal, dislodging it... but in all fairness, this did come after the net was dislodged several times deliberately by the Rangers... so it very well could've been a makeup call.

If has his glove up, he stops 1st one. When Mike Rupp puts 2 by you, you're not on. He cost us a point, but Bryz is too blame somehow I'm sure.

Ignore it dude. BOB drops his first game in over a month and he suddenly sucks.

If the bum starts we lose 5-2.

Damn. Were the better team until Bob let in the softest goal of all time. Inexcusable, you have to make that save. Kinda deteriorated from there, but Lundqvist made the big saves at the end.

well i don't care what Briere did last season.. i really don't.
Couts is outplaying him big time.
I understand ice wasn't at its best shape in the end of match BUT you just gotta do SOMETHING more than just shot without anything else...
god knows if that was Roo... oh nevermind our coach knows better why he don't put on there guy who is leading NHL over average guy...
oh wait

Once again, we have two goalies who let in soft goals nearly every game.

This is exactly that team. Did anyone really think we were really a 1st place quality team? We're not Boston or the Rags or anyone of that caliber. Our goaltending is relative **** and our defensive play is highly disappointing.
Yep.

It was nice to see him break his cherry. Hopefully this will boast his confidence. Hartnell was our best player on the ice and he never gave up even after that 3rd goal by the rags. The rest of the team were on their heals after that. Really disappointed in the play of our two highest paid players today but that is something to talk about another day. Anytime the Flyers lose to the rags it is a bad day and I tend to go off.

Shouldn't even have gotten a penalty shot and you don't give it to Giroux. Come on lavi.

I think you're being too generous, I'd say a 6-1 loss.

Remember Bryzripyouoff's feet get cold in the net. Playing outdoors would have really made his feet freeze.

Someone who was on the ice when the play comes to the stoppage has to take the penalty shot.

Pretty sure the rule is, it has to be a player who was on the ice at the time of the call. If Giroux was on the ice, then it would of been his shot. (He wasnt on the ice right?)

Want to try for Bryzgolov? He can teach all the Rangers about Tigers and the Universe. He brings more to the team than just goaltending!!

Yea he was on the ice. I don't have a problem with Briere taking the shot though.
