You heard wrong! John Scott was a huge fan favorite both on and off the ice for Houston & Minnesota. He is a soft spoken, quiet guy off the ice. He and his wife just had their first baby this month.

Someone fed you some really bad info.

Considering Chara's fight card is 10000X stronger than Scott's, yeah I guess you are right.

anyway

BigMac, Scott, McGrattan, Brennan basically everyone with 6,5 above Chara is not a top fighter he is big and has enomours wrestling skills but he knows he wouldn't stand a chance in a boxing match against either of these guys.

Seriously who will be the first to take down the giant?

Its like the jedi vs the dark side, the nhl needs a luke skywalker to take down the almighty darth vader.

Chara WILL NOT fight anybody that is a known fighter. Laraque grabbed him twice in one game and Chara held him and pulled him to the ice both times because he didn't want to fight him.

Since Chara won't man up and fight anybody that can fight, he will never get the beating he deserves.

Parros, Scott and MacIntyre are all guys that would beat Chara to a pulp, but you'll never see it because like Lucic, Chara picks and chooses who he fights with.

Are you for real? I'm not saying is a great fighter but he's stronger than most guys in the league thats why he usually wins the fights. And every person who drops the gloves in the NHL picks their fights.

wow, Chara can ragdoll and "pull" big 250lb guys to the ice decisively, yet you have some delusional belief that he should go toe to toe somehow that fits into your narrow idea of how a "fight" should go, Chara is huge, and to top that off, he is very strong for his size, he may have had some draws/losses earlier in his career, but now in the shape he is and the strength he has now, nobody is going to beat him up, not Parros Scott or Macintyre, and the longer they stayed up and wrestled would play even more into Chara's endurance advantage, but of course he is smart enough to just throw the big guys around and to the ice, what is the point of playing rockem sockem robots, it only makes perfect sense that he will throw the other guy around because he can

It would be fun if someone like Mats Zuccarello-Aasen just lost it with Chara and then managed to connect with a luck punch to knock him out.

On a serious note, if he fought the heavy weights on a regular basis, anyone who knows anything about fighting knows that it can go either way and if you go at it enough Chara would certainly get clocked before we know it. Without any doubt.

With that said, besides a couple of times per season, why should he fight the heavy-weights. I mean, I see no more reason for him to fight someone like Parros then for someone like AO to fight Parros. It makes zero sense.

Darren Langdon in 1998 gave Chara a pretty good whooping during that amazing line brawl where Cloutier destroys Salo.....I remember being at Nassau Coliseum.....the only thing the Rangers won that night was that brawl.....

Another Chara thread, wonderful. I thought the same old question has been answered in every other Chara fight thread.
