Things look to be turning around for the Stampeders, but injuries continue to be their biggest enemy. Looking forward to Friday's game @ the Roughriders. It would be great to go into the bye week with a win and doing it by steppin' on the throats of the Roughriders and making sure they stay in the basement.
Can't help but feel we're going to win it all this year. Last season we headed into the playoffs expecting great things, only to be disappointed, not this year.
What a great start to the 2012 season. One of the most complete games by a Stamps team in all the time(over 40 years) i've been a fan. The defense absolutely snuffed out the ground game while the secondary with help from the line limiting Calvillo's time handcuffed the receiving core. Every receiver caught a ball and Tate showed much better poise to start the year. I really wasn't sure what the d would be capable of but if thats any indication she'll be a good year. Other than a few bad snaps and too many turnovers(which didn't cost any points) it went exactly the way they draw it up on the blackboard.
He played decent, had one throw directed at an Alouettes' player that was miraculously not intercepted, had good legs on him and don't think he got sacked.
Good pocket awareness... throwing arm isn't as dynamic as Burris'. Made a couple of mistakes.
Overall, the Stamps above-average offence beat Montreal's below-average defence. If I were an Alouettes' fan, I would not be happy with their d-line at all.
Tate played well but nothing amazing. Going to be an interesting year for the offense. The line looks as good as it's ever been but one has to wonder if our passing game might be a target.
Absolutely horrible clock management by Glenn. Probably cost them the game, getting only 3 plays in wth 40 seconds left is bad stuff.
You could tell though, the moment Montreal got the ball with the 3 minute warning and 12 points to go, that they were going to just slice through the defence.
Tate has decided to have surgery on his shoulder so he's probably done. Can't say i have big faith in Glenn, not so much his ability more the mental aspect.

It was on TSN last night. Sounds like he'll be out 4 months.
Damnit. I liked our chances this season, but I don't trust Glenn very much. He's lacking mentally to be a good QB. Maybe we can squeeze into a playoff spot?
How many receivers in this league make heroic catches, drag a defender 7 yards into their endzone, vault defenders untouched, and beat coverage with speed in the open field... Nik it's just not fair
