Hagelin to the youngstars game perhaps? He's got 11 points in 19 games I believe. That's a 42 point pace. Would just love to see him do some speed trials.

I think they got rid of it. They just have the rooks do some of the drills in the skills events now.

surprised nobody has suggested Richards. If they pick on reputation (and they often do) he'd be in with a shout

It's possible. I'd love it, but only 12 rookies make the game. Hagelin is 13th in rookie scoring so it's possible, especially considering he has 11 points in just 19 games. His speed would be great in the skills competition.

i'd rather hank not get picked...he obviously deserves it but the ASG is just cruel against goalies. i'd rather him get the days off to recharge his batteries for the stretch run. zero chance of him not going though

Gabs and Henrik. Girardi might deserve a nod but I doubt he gets it, not enough offense to his credit.

Gaborik, Hank, Girardi, MDZ, maybe even Richards, and for the rookies maybe Hagelin. I doubt all of those get picked I hope 2 of them do which is likely.

Love Girardi , he s great defensively, but that does not grant you a ticket to the ASG

Hank, Gaborik

Hopefully it'd just Lundqvist who goes, suits up and relaxes at the skills competition, then puts in one nice low workload period in the game. He is a must at the dumb red carpet event or whatever. I just hope everyone takes a couple of days to rest up.

Gaborik and Lundqvist. Girardi fits the mold of a snub to a tee.

MDZ has a much better shot than Girardi, I think, though I don't think either of them will get in except for maybe as a replacement. Henke, Gabby, maybe Richards, but probably not. Looks like Ottawa, Toronto and Pittsburgh fans are stuffing the hell out of the ballots. Reimer has 410k votes.

Think they'll notice if we send Danny Blackburn in one of Henrik's slim suits and a wig instead? He's got a month to learn a Swedish accent.

How on earth will he use his glove hand with a glove?
