The only way we'll start seeing back pages is if we make the conference finals at least. It doesn't shock me in any way shape or form. That time will come though.
Honestly, I think there's some good to the fact that the team flies below the radar. I don't see a lot of positives coming out of a ton of prominent mainstream coverage.
yea I didnt even post about it when I heard b/c I anticipate it being garbage. He *****ed that he was coerced into doing the interview b/c someone else wanted him to do it. Said "...who had a good night I heard." Geez either commit to having the guy or shut your mouth Franny. I loved his ripping apart Paterno and penn state but would greatly prefer him not touching hockey

Just came to comment on this. It's sad in a way really, if this team does what it's capable of, we'll have to deal with this stupidity more and more in the springtime.
It is always weird when Mike tries to do hockey. I have mixed feelings about it. In some ways it seems like a backhanded compliment that he lets the NHL grace his show but then openly says he knows nothing about it and doesnt watch it. That said, we always complain about the lack of coverage and Mike does have a top sports radio show. It is a catch-22.
Can you imagine someone like Francessa interviewing an NFL player and admitting that he didn't bother to watch the game in question and knows nothing about any of the players involved? That **** would never fly.
But since it's hockey it's apparently OK. What an embarassment....my 9 year old cousin could conduct a better interview than this *********.

It absolutely is not. By any reasonable standard. It's clear that the interviewer knows nothing about the player he's interviewing, the game in question, the opposition, etc.
