RNH out at least 2 games with left shoulder injury. He will be re-evaluated. Tom Gilbert will not play tonight but could Thursday vs St.Louis

So it could end up being just a couple games. Hopefully.

I'm very happy that they kept Paajarvi in OKC, he needs to be down there at least until the trade deadline. Really get a chance to build his confidence before coming back. I wouldn't even be opposed to him staying down the remainder of the year and being a key part in their playoff run (of course he might not like that since he likes playing in the WC's for his country).

Seems kind of weird to say at least 2 games. I'd say he is probably out at least 3 games and would return the earliest the first game back at home which is just over a week away. Doesn't really make sense to bring him back for an afternoon game against the Stars.

Hopefully RNH will heal up quickly and maybe get some rest as a result of the injury and come back rejuvenated.

good news about gilbert... RNH's status seems much more vague, so i guess we'll have to wait and see

Getting one of these guys back within a week would be just fine with me. We should have the offesnive punch to do without RNH for a few games, but we can't afford to have Gilbert out.

Maybe they are planning on using Gagner, Horcoff, Belanger and Lander as our centers. If that's the case, there is no need for O'Marra.

That's a big relief regarding Gilbert, i really thought that his injury would be more serious.
If we have any hopes of having a decent season, we need Gilbert to be healthy which sounds weird to say that but he has been that important.

I kind of expected RNH to be a 1-2 week deal anyway so no surprise there, they should keep him out for the rest of the road trip and bring him back for the homestand only if he's 100%.

I hope he is back by the 11th. I bought a ticket specifically to see him play in person. It's a long road trip for me so I'd be choked if he is on the IR.

That said, I'd prefer that they be cautious with the Nuge. Let him heal even if I have to be content with watching plugs like Hall and Eberle.

Green has to clear waivers to go back down correct? I wonder if Lander will go back down when RNH gets back.

Because Green is a great prospect.
