Leblanc sent back to Hamilton...

At least he can get some play time. Guess we have a few guys about to come back.

Canadiens assign Louis Leblanc to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Makes sense. Gio must be ready to go next game or the one after.

He showed some real good things. Did not look out of place. A much, much better impression than Palushaj gave us.

So Gionta is ready to come back. Good news.

Leblanc needs to play and progress, not sit on the bench and watch.

We need him. Now we can hopefully have 3 lines that can score goals.

Showed that he can play at the NHL level, can't wait to see him next year after he gains a bit of weight and has a full training camp.

Kostitsyn - Eller - Moen
Pacman - DD - Cole
Cammalleri - Plekanec - Gionta

Now that look sexy! Man I miss Markov and White!

Wouldn't be surprised if he goes on a tear now. Similar to how St.Denis has been almost point/game since returning.

Nice, he'll be back eventually. Gives him time to work on things.

He'll get to play a lot of minutes at least. I like that they kept him up for a while, he really deserved it. He's now definitely the next callup (poor Palushaj!)

he's been a reasonable facsimile of a 3rd line winger in the NHL. In the AHL he should be a star.

I'd much rather have had him play top nine then Blunden these past few games but with Gionta back Hamilton will be good for him. He'll be back the next time there are injuries or if there's a trade. I think he'll be a pretty decent top-9er next season.

2012-13 should be interesting on RW though, 4-5 guys will be trying to establish their place in the pecking order:

Leblanc
Palushaj
Kristo
Gallagher
maybe Avstin

With probably 1-2 NHL roster places to fill.

Solid first stint with the big boys. He'll be a good one.

He had a good stint and showed flashes of the type of player he could become. With Gionta coming back, this was to be expected.

I expect LL to be a full-timer next year. He's going to be a solid addition to the club. Hopefully, he goes out and starts to dominate the A.

The AHL is going to seem much slower to him after his NHL stint

I hope he tears the league up.
