NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

Rupper had a big goal. It gave us life. All the stuff around us, it was all forgotten about when we got into the third.
- Brad Richards

It was such a huge game. The lead-up to it, HBO and the 47.000 fans. It feels really good to get this one. It really does.
- Ryan Callahan

You know, we have some talent, but we are not the most gifted team and we have developed an identity.
I think the guys, they have developed this on their own as far as that grinding identity, and that's the way we have to play.
That's a big reason why we found our way tonight.
- John Tortorella

Kopecky should be ignored like the useless player he is.

Get 2 more points and keep marching on

Gonna be at the Garden for this one. Hope we see a 5-0 domination with a Gabby hatty, Cally and Dubi goals, and a Rupp or Prust beatdown.

Is Biron confirmed?

Let's get on a nice little roll here. Pittsburgh awaits on Friday and even though we've been successful on back to backs, we need to grab the two here.

He's not confirmed but he most likely will be starting so we can get Lundqvist in against ****sburgh.

Beat em down like we did last time at MSG. LGR.

By the way, Loffen, I'll be making the GDT for Friday's game. Looking to go 2-0 this season.

I heard Biron was the first goalie to leave practice yesterday's or today's practice, signifying he'd be starting. I'm glad, the more rest for Hank, the better. Biron is a lock for playing 25-30 games this season - meaning Hank will play the fewest games since his rookie year, where he had his best record.

for some reason i feel Barch Prust or Barch Rupp or Barch Bickel might happen, other than that, i doubt anything gets out of hand. coaches dont want to get fined...who knows maybe Del Zotto gets in his first NHL fight but most importantly lets get 2 points in regulation.....

First time watching the Rangers at the Garden in a couple of years for me.

A little disappointed Henrik isn't starting, but I'll get over it

Go Rangers.

Perhaps some retaliation might take place tonight. Hockey players have long memories.

In any case, continue to make Clemensson look like a sieve, please.

Would not be surprised in the least bit to see Biron in against Florida, but in all honesty, Hank has had a fair bit of rest recently. I can see him playing both Thursday and Friday. They don't play again until Tuesday.

Would love to see us take a big lead than begin to goon things up late in the game. Kopecky is public enemy #1.
