Has more 3 pointers after 6 games (10-16) than he managed in his first two years combined (9-68). Night and day.

I find it strange that in a shortened 66-game season, in which each team will have at least one set of back-to-back-to-back games, is going to take four days off for an All-Star Break? Isn't a season like this one in which you take an exception to it? Odd.
As a casual fan, I find myself intrigued and excited by this team. They may not end up well in the standings, but there isn't more you can ask for from a young team than learning and development. Seeing Derozan and Bargnani these first six games has brought some hope and excitement to me.

The league can make a boatload of money on All Star Weekend. That trumps everything else.
Bargnani is a scoring machine. 61 pts in two games. I like the mold of this team, they're fighting, and playing good defense something triano failed to instill. Still want them to tank, having Barnes/Jonas next year... oh my goodness!!!!
As much as one wants a major piece added in the draft lottery in 2012, it's really tough to get upset about the team winning games when guys like Bargnani and Derozan are expanding their games.
Raptors have 2 players in the top 20 in scoring. Bargs is 24 PPG and Derozan is at 18.5 PPG. Both are accepting their new roles and flourishing. Not only is Casey instilling effort and defense but he seems to have improved his players offense as well.
What about him? He is not better than any of those starters. He either comes off the bench or is traded. I like the kid and would love to keep him coming off the bench, but if you have Bargnani, A. Davis/Drummond and Valanciunas filling out the F and C spots then there's no spot for him in the starting 5.
lol, you realize those guys are power forwards right? But if Raps could draft those players, you do it since they seem to be the best players in the draft.

Yes I do realize... that's why I have them slotted into the forward position? lol
Having 2 power forwards on is fine, especially if they're as versatile as those guys are.
They're not going to be able to guard small forwards. They're not Lamar Odom.
If they could, Raps probably would have tried that with Bargnani.
Bargnani definitely cannot defend small forwards... Davis/Drummond are more than capable of. They're both extremely athletic and versatile, especially Davis. He would have no problem guarding small forwards, in fact he would be at an advantage with his athleticism, speed and size.
With the win vs Cleveland, Toronto vaulted into 1st place in the league in terms of Opposing FG%. The Raptors have held their opponents this season to a combined .398, the only team that has kept their opposition under a collective .400, and the gap between them and the 2nd place Lakers (at .411) is the largest difference between any two teams on the opposing FG% leaderboard.
It's not likely that they'll sit in this spot all season, but I'll take whatever small victories we get along the way.
They're also 6th in points allowed per game at 91.5
It's going to be a tough stretch to keep that up though. Over the next 9 days, the team only has 2 days off, including Toronto's set of back-to-back-to-back games (every team has 1 such run this season).
