Hehe. I see what you did there. Freudian slip?

I agree that Doan is done. Move along. There nothing to see here.

I could see it. But to suggest it's done right now is pretty asinine.

So, with the Rangers challenging for the President's Trophy, who do you want to win tonight - Chicago or Philly?

Chicago and it's not even close, for me at least. I don't care about the standings out west yet. At least not in how they relate to the Rangers.

Definitely Chicago. If we win tonight and Chicago wins (in OT), we take a 6 (5) point lead on the division with the same games played as the Flyers.

Winning the division/East >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Presidents trophy, especially in January.

Chicago.

The division is a much safer bet than the President's trophy -- I'm usually a "reach for the stars" kinda guy, but I think we should be focusing on winning the division more so than the league. We haven't even won the division since '94.

Winning the division is much more important. It's not even a question.

Boston was up by 2 only 3 minutes into the game. They are by far the best team in the league. If it wasn't for the bad start to the season their record would be ridiculous.

Calgary is ****ing useless.

Boston can pile on these crappy teams all they want, I still don't believe they are this good against the top-tier teams.

After tonight they will be 23-3-1 in their last 27 games. They are a VERY good team.

Chris Stewart is heating up. He must of read our convo on him last month.

5 goals in his last 8 games.

The Blues become such a dangerous team if they get all three lines going.

Look at their schedule in those 27 games.

Detroit, Pittsburgh and Philly are the only 3 teams they have played who are legit Cup contenders. Their division is garbage this year and they have feasted on weaker teams.

Don't get me wrong, I think they are the best team in the NHL. But their record against the top-10 teams in the league (not including them) isnt that impressive.

4-4 as of right now in those games with Vancouver coming up/

Calgary plays like they are scared kittens. Sad times there. At one point they were the most physical team in the league with Regehr and Phaneuf leading the way on defense.

Wow, Bryzgalov sucks. Chicago just scored twice in 40 seconds to tie it at 4

Flyers win 5-4.....Not bad considering they had no Jagr and Pronger and terrible goaltending against an elite team

LOL Philly, playing in Philly, gets a PP with under a minute to go in regulation and JVR scores the winner

Timonen apparently was hurt in that game. That's a huuuuuuge loss if it's long term. He's basically their Girardi.

Anyone watching Sweden-Russia? Who you rooting for?

Gonna be a great ending. I want Sweden, but at same time I want Russia cause the Canadian crowd wants Sweden. I just want to see an epic OT winner. No shootout please.

All you can do is play the games on the schedule...but they are 6-1-0 vs the the "tougher" Atlantic division. Their goal differential the last 2 games is better than the entire seasons goal differential of 22 teams.
