The roster is just not very good. No idea it would be this mediocre this year.
It really isn't. Too many vets who just don't care. I don't know what Stoll and Penner's deal is, but Williams is on a four year deal and hasn't done much to show that he wants to get it together. Three and a half more years of this Justin Williams is a scary thought.
Perhaps we could benefit from a call-up? Like giving Cliche or Kozun a couple of games on the top 6, King or Nolan on the bottom 6? At least get someone hungry out there.

I have no idea, I guess it really wouldn't matter at this point.
I would trade Stoll or waive Penner immediately. Makes sense if management didn't want to just eat the Penner money though. Player personnel has to change in some tangible way.
Richards on the wing doesn't work and effectively kills a scoring line due to him not centering one, has to be said. Unfortunate.
So frustrating playing the Coyotes....probably the crapiest roster on paper in the NHL, yet because of Tippetts geniusness...they remain competitive as hell.
If anything this year I want to see Clifford get at least Ten Goals and around thirty points.
I think that is possible for him this year. I really want to see Clifford turn into a productive bottom Six guy. I don't want him to turn into a Lewis.

There is noting magical about it, Tippet plays some of the most boring Hockey ever.
"Dustin is at the crossroads of his career," Lombardi wrote in an email to Sporting News. "He can choose to use his athletic ability to either become a dominant power forward in the National Hockey League or be a dominant number four hitter for the El Cid Lounge in a men’s softball league — the choice is his."

Just what I was thinking. Send Stoll away, send Williams away, Penner I dunno, but I havent been this bored at a kings game in a long time...maybe we need Vancouver here every night, now that was a blast!

Yeah I gotta agree. It may make sense to put your two top scorers on the same line to generate offense, but it just doesn't turn out that way. Richards is just not a winger type, he's a center. He needs to go back to his position because it just seems like a waste having him at wing right now.
For sure, I wonder if the initial shock of the new coach has worn off a bit?
That's what I'm worried about. The third period against Colorado is where this type of play started...

Yeah I agree. That line just doesn't look to have much chemistry. The only solid passes on that line have come from Richards, but he's trying to force it a lot and has actually turned it over a decent amount. I'd rather they go back to the lines Sutter started with.
