I love the way Step sees all that open ice, and just turns on the jets. He really pushes the defensemen back, and that gives gabby all the time in the world to pick a shot

Perfect use of Gaborik and his shot... Something we didn't see last season.

Gabby with more votes than Dubi, embarassing...I guess everyone wrote "Whoever scores the game winner" on their ballot.

the two hockey games on Sportscenter..Bruins and Flyers..figures the Rangers wouldn't make it up there with an OT Game winner..

I know you hate the guy, but come on. His play in the 3rd period can only be described using a combination of sick and nasty. It was sicknasty.

and just because it's kinda tradition for me:

We get it. You hate Gaborik.

C'mon dude, Gaborik played an outstanding 3rd period/OT... It's not like he just floated around all night and scored a lucky game winner. If it wasn't for him, we probably lose the game in a shootout.

I can see where he's coming from though. Dubinsky played great the entire game.

Scores 0 points and still gets a merited hfboards "2nd star". I'd say Dubi's efforts were fairly recognised tonight no?

The ignore list exists for a reason. Please stop quoting him.

Shots were 39-4 after two periods for the Swedes, if by defensive battles you mean Makarov holding the the fort.

I was there tonight too with epic seats

Also, a shout-out to Torts.

Did you notice Florida's top line tonight? Neither did I. Who played against them the ENTIRE game? Dubi, Richie, Cally.

That line had Fleischmann Weiss and Versteeg, a line not to be taken lightly, pinned in their own end practically the entire game. Another reason that line did very well, but it was Torts who put them out there, and managed to keep the match-ups the way we wanted.

Who flipped Bill Clinton the puck during the game?

we are truly taking Girardi and McD for granted. Last night they played against one of the most creative lines in the league and not only shut them out without Marty having to do anything great but they held them to two shots. The Panthers scored two goals; this pairing was on the ice for neither. They are studs and are being taken for granted by this fan base.

I voted for

Dubi
Girardi
Mcd

HM: Gabby, Richards

Good win last night, usually they blow that game, if Hank played we would have won 2-0.

Those were two absolute perfect snipes top shelf. If there's anyway to beat Lundqvist, that's usually the way to do it.

It's because we played them aggressively. The same reason Jagr has dismantled our team in the limited ice time he's seen against us. Everyone backs off. Versteeg, Fleishmann and Weiss are all huge *******, especially Versteeg. If you attack them they have zero answer.

Florida is going to continue their free-fall.
