Weber is back to practice NHL reports

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=609753

Article has a few errors but the point is - the captain is getting better!

are you sure thats not a spoof site? they say he is the reigning Norris trophy winner and a pending ufa.

would feel much more confident if the Preds released this...

according to the radio, Weber was supposed to have a non-contact practie, but non-contact and weber do not go together. said he participated in some board battles, practiced on the PP with Suter and sported an ear to ear smile all practice.

and wilson practiced with the non contact jersey on as well, with no contact.

How can the official site of the league tolerate such crappy reporting?

thanks for the info, token. very good to hear but won't get my hopes up. especially with weber until he is in the lineup and takes a couple of solid checks with no relapse. see crosby.

I saw him w/ my own eyes yesterday after my daughter and I got done w/ the public skate... was surprised to see him and he looked 'good'. Doubt we'll see him before Saturday in a game... would assume they want to make sure he doesn't have a set-back and wait an extra game.

Such things have become the norm this season, along with spelling miscues, unrelated pictures, and much more. The NHL's news division has, for some reason, taken a turn for the worse this season. Maybe they hired bama? That guy never could spell.

They won't rush him back so long as the team keeps winning. If we drop the next couple of games and play poorly, then they'll be looking for any chance to bring him back and turn the team's fortunes around. I suspect he'll be evaluated today and again tomorrow morning, and if he's up for it, he'll play; if not, they'll hold him out to ensure a full recovery.

I think we should've let him recover a bit more. The whole defensive unit looked mixed up and out of place tonight.
