So with the cold temperature we had the last 2 days in Montreal any chances the rinks will be ready soon?

I myself just came back from the Quays Skating Rink at the old port, so there's one that's open.

Tuesday will be 3 degrees, so any rinks that are open might have soft ice.

Hey, just getting back to the city tomorrow. Wondering how the rinks are and if there are any particular good ones ready. Thanks

So I went out for my first skate in three years this morning at parc Laurier. It felt awesome. Being outdoors after a fresh snow, playing a couple passing games with the kids, I realized how much I've been missing this! Feels good to me back in my hometown!

I was about to ask here about Parc Laurier. Thanks for sharing the info.

Out of 10, how would you rate the ice ?

Well I've skated two of the three rinks, I'd say the ice was 6/10 (1 being mud and 10 being the Bell centre). Not very good but good enough to have fun, pucks gliding pretty well even though the snow didn't help.

Please note, I just pulled a Theodore.

I went to St-Michel refrigerated, slipped on the iced-up sidewalk and fell on my hand....

you've been warned, lol

Anyone knows a good free or cheap indoor rink that is open during weekdays?? Preferable near Plateau! It's raining!
Anyhow my favorite place is Laurier. Ice was really good last weekend

I wouldn't have much hope, it's going to rain tomorrow and the weather will be too warm to have ice next week.
