I don't expect PG to pull a Brian Burke and have a self fulfilling press conference to say he is trying to add a center.
Not to mention I do believe the teams are supposed to release more info these days regarding injuries if I am nort mistaken. Also it is a benefit for if we are going to try and move him and his wonky knee for other teams that may be interested not that I can see many wanting a one knee d man.

Honestly, he would probably be better off with a permanent full-cage helmet. It would prevent people from jumping him to fight him which is definitely a likely scenario considering how many people he's flattened out already.

It would suck for him to get jumped, break his face again and have to retire from hockey.

According to Randy Cunneyworth, the puck that hit Emelin caught him around the cheek area, causing the swelling. He'll be re-evaluated tomorrow

Emelin hurt, breaks his face, still smiles.

Per 98,5FM, Emelin ate a puck to the face in practice. It didn't hit his metal plate though.

He had a big ass bruise on his face, but had recovered his smile, per Cunneyworth.

It's uncertain he'll play tomorrow.

Agreed. This isn't Brent Sopel we're talking about.

Per Habs I/O: Coach Randy Cunneyworth suggested that Emelin, who was caught “in the meaty part of the face,” should be OK for Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Edit: Comment by Habs I/O poster The Dude: "Trade Weber to Boston and have him shoot at their faces!"

Great to see AK around him. Seemed to be worried about him when he was laying on the ice. Saw them both together also, in the old port.

Poor guy. Takes more shots to the face than Jenna Jameson.

Hope he's alright.

We're fans, we aren't entitled to know anything about Markov's recovery aside from when he's likely to come back.
You're pretty gullible if you believe this to be true. There's nothing wrong with the fans wanting to know roughly what's going on with their best player. Fans have every right to know what ownership knows with regards to Markov.

There is nothing to gain by hiding it. Fans looking to buy tickets ect have a right to know if the Habs best player has a shot at being there, but Gauthier has a history of this kind of bizarre history.

Even Spacek was a bit perplexed when Gauthier told him he was traded, but wouldn't tell him where, because the League hadn't approved it. Seems like an ******** to be honest. If the rumours of how he handled the JM firing are true, it says even more about his lack of interpersonal skills and complete disregard for others emotions.
