Reebok 5K helmet and visor compatibility

Hey everyone, hopefully someone knows the answer to this, I just got a medium 5K helmet on sale and my old visor doesn't fit it properly and extends out to the sides too much. I believe my old visor was an itech one from a couple of years ago. Anyway, I bought a new Oakley visor (the "straight" model I think, that's the only one they had) but that seemed to be even less compatible with the helmet.

I know certain helmets are compatible with certain visor types but I haven't been able to find a good fit for mine and have been looking for suggestions. Any help would be appreciated as I'll likely have to order online and won't be able to see the visor/helmet compatibility in person before I buy.

Thanks guys.

The visor should have come with spacers for the sides. Did you put those on and it still didn't fit?

Send a message via AIM to IIHFjerseycollector
take both your helmet and visor to a hockey shop and have them help you and they will install the correct spacers and bolts. buy a roll of tape to reward them for helping.

Thanks for the replies. I used to think that any visor would fit as well, but I had an Oakley Straight visor and the instructions said it was only compatible with a RBK 8K helmet, and it clearly didn't fit my helmet at all. I can check with the nearest sports store (2hrs away), just wanted to see if anyone here had any particular suggestions before I did that as I probably trust the people on this forum more than the staff at the store after having dealt with them in the past.
