I never said that.

Good game tomorrow guys, should be one to remember!

Random story, I don't know if you guys care but I thought it was funny: I was in Toronto with my uncle a couple days before New Years and we went to a sports bar so I could watch the Canucks vs Anaheim game. I wore my jersey and some drunk Leafs fan came up to me and proceeded to tell me in great detail about how the Leafs are going to win it all in 2012. And then he tried to start a 'Kessel is better than Kesler' argument. Needless to say I was all sorts of 'o____O'.

I don't get all the Bruins fan hate, Leafs fans are about 50000x times more irritating and unbearable
.
Yes, and you always seem them complaining about the hate they get in the main board. Oh woe is us another Leafs hate thread boo hoo. Their fans bring it on themselves. Kessel was leading in goals early this season and they acted like they just won the cup.

SHHH! It's a secret.

I didn't like the antics from either side in the finals, but aside from that Boston is one of my favourites. Sigh, I've been found out.

I know. Thankfully my family isn't 'that' type of Leafs fans, but I assure you they're plentiful in SouthWestern Ontario. Hell, half my cousins talk about Vancouver like they're some basement team. It's like 'lolwut'.

It's too bad you don't get to live around them full-time...lol

We've had two years of our Leafs-tanking threads being trolled and "We won the Kessel trade/Seguin is a bust" posts, so we know how annoying they are, but they are a bit like some loser cousin who shoots his mouth off at family gatherings...you know he's a loser, so it's hard to get a good hate going for him. One needs a little success to bring out the venom.

Is that really the case? That's the dumbest rule I've ever heard ever.

Well, one of the dumbest.

Ahh, you live in Oakville, so I'm sure you understand.

It sounds pitiful and low, but I love nothing more than lurking Calgary Puck after the Flames lose. They all go on suicide watch. I find it more hilarious that half of them are bandwagoner Bruins fans because they beat the Canucks. Its like, really? You actually need to hop on a successful team to intensify a heated division rivalry? Sad days. It still makes me laugh that 9 times out of 10 they spell it 'Zedeno Charra'. I'm not even kidding.

Well, one of the dumbest.
It's a familiarity with out of state IDs thing, easier to fake IDs that the vendors are unfamiliar with. I've seen that rule at multiple American sporting events.

Driving down to Boston, well, Revere, and taking the T in to enjoy an amazing, amazing day of Hockey tomorrow!

Going to The Four's for a nice lunch and drinks (courtesy of NESN!) to enjoy the Canucks game, then taking the Green Line over to Fenway to take in some amazing college hockey!

Try international ID's. We got a "Where the f&^K is that?!?!" from people on the gate for Brufest. It's ok though - got a couple of beers inside the garden because my grey hair gives me away.

Yeah, I brought my passport. I have a BCID, and it's pretty forgery-proof with all the upgrades, but I would expect that the server carding me would definitely give it a lot of checking over. I doubt they see them very often.

It's kind of what makes me glad about living in a country with only 10 provinces and 3 territories-- much easier to remember ID specifics.

Video on the B's website showed Marshmont, and a couple other players if I recall, doing the media stuff. TD Garden videos, pictures, etc etc. That's an actual quote from Brad as he walked towards makeup.

^^ haha thanks, I was wondering.

Here's my favorite Thomas vid. Can't believe it only has 145 views! Timmy+southpark=genius. Too bad the crowd couldn't do a TIMMAH chant whenever he makes a nice save

UConn I wanted to quote you as well puckmonster on this reply because yes, if you are not from MA, the rule is you must be over 25. I am 99.9% sure that the only exception is if the ID is a passport

I feel you man. West coasters have to watch at 10am. That's borderline recreational alcoholism.

I just wanted to say that I wasn't a big fan of Boston in June, but your city (and even a lot of posters on this board) have really changed my opinion. You guys are so passionate about your team and support them so strongly, I can't help but admire your dedication.

This Canucks fan is very impressed!
As far as I'm concerned you are welcome on this board anytime. You've been great and you know your hockey too.

Enjoy your visit to Boston!
