With the win vs Cleveland, Toronto vaulted into 1st place in the league in terms of Opposing FG%. The Raptors have held their opponents this season to a combined .398, the only team that has kept their opposition under a collective .400, and the gap between them and the 2nd place Lakers (at .411) is the largest difference between any two teams on the opposing FG% leaderboard.
It's not likely that they'll sit in this spot all season, but I'll take whatever small victories we get along the way.
They're also 6th in points allowed per game at 91.5
It's going to be a tough stretch to keep that up though. Over the next 9 days, the team only has 2 days off, including Toronto's set of back-to-back-to-back games (every team has 1 such run this season).
today - vs NJ
tomorrow - @ Phi Sunday - off day
Monday - vs Min
Tuesday - @ Wsh
Wednesday - vs Sac Thursday - off day
Friday - vs Ind
Saturday (14th) - @ Chi
Luckily, during that stretch we face very weak teams in NJ, Min, Wsh, Sac, with a winnable game against the Sixers.
But, then we finish off with two very tough matchups in the Pacers and Bulls.
Looks like I'm heading down to the game tonight...of the cheap sections (ie the $24/26/34 ones up high), which are the best? Or should I make the leap to the $70 baseline seats that are 12 rows up behind the basket?

It turns out if you go to raptors.com/ticketpass and just type in "yorkalumni" and set up an account you get some pretty sweet deals.
I ended up 17 rows up in the corner for $59 which I figure is pretty solid (although the aforementioned moving down idea probably would have been a solid one too as long as the ushers aren't total *****es like at Jays games).

Minnesota isn't great by any stretch, but they're better than people give them credit for.
NJ is brutal right now though, No D-Will, no Lopez, no Humphries tonight it appears.

I'm not sure Kleiza will be much better when he returns. He was never terribly athletic in the first place, and having microfracture surgery can only make things worse

If he returns to form, he is much better than Rasual since he can post, rebound, defend and create something offensively. Rasual can't do much other than play some decent defense.
Bargs still getting killed on the glass. I guess that's something even Casey can't get him to do.
except that he's had 7 boards in 3 of the 6 games so far. Not great totals by any means, but Casey has in fact generated an improvement in Bargnani's rebounding effort.
New Jersey is just a particularly strong rebounding team.
