Good News and Bad News

The Good News - Giguere improved his GAA tonight

The Bad News - 3 goals against and an overtime loss is an improvement

The good news: Jiggy was sharp and kept the team in the game after a first period where he faced way to many shots.

the bad:The Ducks scored 1 goal for the third straight game which is pathetic.

btw Giguere gave up 2 goals bro.

This sucks. Bad turnover by Fedorov. Isn't just *wonderful* how Keith "I speared someone, but didn't get a game misconduct" Tkachuk scored the game winner.

I have no clue, but the bright side is last nights game was probley the best all around game this team has played all season they had many scoring chances...the fact the team has played this badly and has managed to stay close could have the Kings and Stars kicking themselves in the arse angry about not starting off really fast.

trust me things could be ALOT worse.

Because the whole division sucks right now, and the Kings have only played 10 games.

Well I didn't watch this game but it's good to know that the Ducks are back to playing close one goal games. I'll take the point. It's basically a tie since I couldn't care less about St. Louis getting the free extra point...since they make the playoffs every year no matter what...

Giguere may be back to form. Now the offense needs to give him 2 or 3 goals a game to work with atleast. We have scored 1 goal a game in 3 straight games.

Vish scratched again...whens the trade happening???

We could have gotten 2 points and a shutout for JS, but JS let in a soft goal. Couldn't understand that. Stood on his head in the first period deflecting 19 shots. Then only saw 11 shots in the next two periods, but let in a soft goal via five hole.

Don't go blaming Fedorov b/c it shouldn't have come to the OT period. Although, Andy Mac had two great chances that he squandered b/c he couldn't stick handle the puck. Sykora had forever and a day to shoot on a PP. Lupul just had bad luck.

Is it just me or do Chistov and Sami perform better when they're on the ice together?

"It shouldn't have gone to OT" cuts both ways. Its not unreasonable to expect a team to score more than once per game.

Yeah, Andy blew some chances, Lupul hit the post...so? Fedorov didn't even get that close. Yeah, I think I can blame him.

Yeah, because after all, we pay him $10 million to trip over the faceoff dot in OT.
