this is the bryz that i saw in pheonix. shakeoff all the media and the hype bryz and just make the saves we all know(deep down) that you can make. i know danny scored 3 tonight but he never would have had the chance if bryz didn't slam the door shut. today bryz was the man of the steel.(steal?) consider this bryz's second stolen game this season (nj shutout was number one)

Big game from two guys who really needed it. Bryz and Briere. Hopefully both can pick it up and do it consistently.

Also Schenn has 3 points in his last 3 games.

Not a fan of Bryz at all but I'll give him props for that game, he played really well and I hope this will start to turn around his season.

One player on Ottawa that I really would like to see in a Flyers uni is Jared Cowen. Big, physical defender who plays really smart and mature for his age.

We were winning in the faceoff circle today, btw. Schenn and Brière leading the way. Giroux took the most though, breaking even on 32 attempts. I haven't got the stats, but I think they've really improved in that area since the start of the season.

jj mentioned that jags is possible for tomorrow. since briere voracek talbot, jvr schenn simmonds, and couts rinaldo harry z has looked like they all have chemistry were do they slide reader without disrupting the flow? slide him in the 4th and send down rinaldo? couts and read play well together so its not a bad idea...

Lavi needs to start Bryz tomorrow and see if he can build on this game.

He gave the team a chance to win, and they did. That's all he needs to do. Give him the opportunity to string a few of these together before putting Bob back in.

This is what i'd like to see
Basically slide Jagr back into his spot, drop read with Briere and V, Talbot goes to the 4th line and Rinaldo is scratched.

Hartnell-Giroux-Jagr
Read-Briere-Voracek
JVR-Schenn-Simmonds
Talbot-Couturier-Harry Z

I personally think they need Rinaldo tomorrow just in case it get's wild tomorrow. As long as he can control himself.

If there is an excess, it's a pleasant burden. The powerplay is something to consider, too, and at times today it was disoriented. Ottawa had an aggressive PK.

absolutely hammered. Out of all the bad turnovers though. The Matt Carle one was easily the best tonight. Actually T-ing it up for the rushing sens player lol.

Aside from that he was good again.
