I understand that, and no, if it becomes a nuisance to the goalie, that does not make it a delay of game, the same rule that says it's a goal if the net is moored also makes it impossible to call a delay of game if the net is still on it's moorings.

Penner should have some company in the scratch-zone.

Are you kidding............ We are penalized? How is that not a matching penalty? I really really hate this game's officiating sometimes. They really need to implement technology into the process.

Get something like baseball's Quistek or whatever it's called? Of course pitchers hate that system.

If it pops off and causes a whistle it is a delay of game. You can call it whatever you want. Goalie interference then. It would fall under both categories so it doesn't matter how the referee interprets it. It is a penalty unless it is nothing and he is being dumb and just lifting the goal a little which is nonsensical and not a penalty. It was a good goal if the whistle didn't blow.

First of all,

It wouldn't pop off, you just saw an instance where it was a nuisance to a goaltender, and it was still moored, hence, no delay of game.

As far as goalie interference, the player actually has to interfere with the goaltender, says nothing about the net.

All I am saying is there is a reason why the review lasted 3 seconds, and it was no goal.

... What would you call it then, Mr. Rulebook?

If the whistle didn't blow. It would have been a goal. There was no reason to waive it off.

Fast editing, because what you had was, "How are we penalized"

And no, at full speed, that's only one penalty, after careful replay you can say he was holding the stick, and even then, he wasn't holding the stick as much as they were wrapped together.

I've been very hard on Matt Greene this season and the last one as well but I must say he's been much improved recently. I haven't been able to see all the games since Sutter took over but he looks much improved and back to keeping his game simple. He and Johnson have looked great together.

I wouldn't call it anything, I would blow the whistle like the official did, and move on.

The whistle blew well after the puck went through the net...ask yourself now why they didn't call it a goal...

I love how on Lokti's line, we have 3 natural centers.

You're ridiculous. Yes, I said that. Would you like me to define the word penalized for you? We were disadvantaged and nothing came to them. I clearly stated that there should have been more to the play than just the penalty to Williams. You know exactly what I meant. You are clearly capable of figuring it out, stop playing around and playing coy.
