The Kings have to be one of the worst passing teams in the league.

Patrick O'Neal interview pattern:

1: First question, followed by answering the question himself and going "right?".

2: Make a general statement on the game, not asking anything in particular and putting the mic to the player, waiting for him to validify what Patrick just said

Not one of the worst. Just the worst...you can relate their horrid passing directly to their horrid lack of offense.

Other than the fact that it does nothing other than leave them with 4 on 5 in the offensive zone, nothing, other than if they fail at it and it falls off the moorings, they get a delay of game penalty. There shouldn't be a whistle when it remains moored, therefore any goal scored while the net is reasonably in place, should be a goal. The whistle was blown too early, because the net was reasonably in place at the time of the goal.

LOL trust me, it's easy to lift the net so it doesn't fall off the moorings, so it's not about doing it right.

And it doesn't matter if it leaves 4 on 5, if the goalie is distracted enough, that's an easy put in.

The reason why they don't do it, is because it wouldn't be called a goal, as you saw.

What are you talking about? How did we score in OT the very last game? The net was lifted on it's moorings... Obviously, the referees won't allow the guy to push the net forward at like a 45 degree angle to disrupt the goaltender. That's why I was saying that the referee will just give him a discretionary delay of game or goaltender interference penalty, whatever the referee prefers. That goal had nothing to do with what we were talking about. Mitchell and the Jacket collided and that caused the net to lift. It is not like the guy was standing there lifting the net.

Funny and sad that Jim and Bob are having a laugh at our expense when it comes to our first period performances. Can't deny it though.

Again,

There is no rule in the rulebook that prevents a guy from lifting the net to an angle to engage the goaltender, let's put it that way.

Not the way the rules are WRITTEN.

Whatever bud lol,

Like I said, there is a reason the review lasted 3 seconds, and it was no goal, you keep thinking the Kings dodged a bullet though k? It really doesn't matter does it...
