L'Oreille undefeated & protesters get their cunney's worth

discuss

Eller is a boss, Cole steals another goal, Habs contain Stamkos-Vinny-MSL.

Habs defeat Tampa 3 - 1

Serve the NHL notice:

Under Randy Cunneyworth, the Habs will no longer be pushovers.

This team, with a 2-1 lead, played to win, not to not lose.

Huge difference. Very aggressive during the 3rd. Loved that.

Cunnyworth might still be around in a few months

I hope every fan that is leaving the Bell Centre high fives those protesters.

Great win!

The difference, a thirst to score and the implementation of a two-man forecheck. It has made all the difference.

Great win.

As for L'Oreille, get rid of the 4 goal horns and it's perfect.

Gorges-Subban were great in shutting down the top guys.

Eller and Kostitsyn were boss. Emelin was a machine.

Eller 20mins TOI... looked dangerous for most of it, again while mostly playing against opposition top line.

This has been a completely different team for the past couple of games. It's been quite awhile since I've found them fun to watch and it's not just because of the old goal song.

Kostitsyn was DOMINANT tonight. Hopefully they start to regain their confidence and get on a roll. I firmly believe this roster is one of the top eight in the conference, but we'll see if they have enough time left to regain all of that ground.

Monster game by Emelin and Diaz.

2 wins in a row puts us in a real awkward spot... Now what?

PS: L'Oreille still rocks!!!

Eller's definitely upped his game since being a healthy scratch. He's been great for most of the year, but since being benched he has just been playing amazing.
