Hey, I definitely share your enthusiasm. Doan's the type of player that all fanbase can appreciate and respect. The guy's a stud.

Just glad that he's not a duck.

It's amazing his first hat trick didn't happen against the Kings.

...and I benched him on my fantasy team today in favor of Van Riemsdyk.

Has two goals against the Isles

He scores the 3rd with 00.1 seconds left in the game. 1st career hat trick. Unreal. Good for Shane Doan. Great guy
That's the best news I've heard all night. I'd give anything to have Doan on the Kings. Hell of a player and a classy guy. I still remember his face after that goal he scored in the playoffs where he looked like the happiest guy alive.

Iggy gets his 500th goal. And Doan gets his first hattrick. What a good night for some of my favorite captains.

Center Jordan Staal is out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury after he collided knee-on-knee with Rangers forward Mike Rupp Friday night, according to head coach Dan Bylsma.

Forward James Neal, who leads the team with 21 goals, will be out indefinitely with a broken foot. Bylsma said it will be "weeks not days."

Neal was hit by a shot late in the third period Saturday night against New Jersey.

All of the pens woe's lead to their missing the playoffs and ending up with a lottery pick which shockingly nabs them the first overall.....again. Isn't impossible.

Jesus christ I feel so bad for Pitt. It's just not fair how decimated that team is.

I heard tomorrow that Malkin is supposed to get run over by a zamboni

It's already 3-2 Flyers over Ottawa at the end of one. Guess there won't be anymore goals in that one.

They have it coming.

Lets just hope we can get him for a song. Wherever he goes he will bring back a pretty penny and I don't see him being the critical key missing piece that is worth us gambling our top assets on for a year or maybe two worth of service/high end production.

Yeah and the Flyers do what they've done way too often this year, take a 2 goal lead into the third (4-2) and cough up 2 or more goals.
They lost 6-4....
That's their 10 million dollar mistake in goal. It kills me that he's getting 10 million this year and he sucks...
To clear money to sign this cracked egg, we gave up Richards....

Ducks are already beating Columbus just over 2 minutes into the game. Kings suck.

The Ducks have more goals this period than the Kings have in the last 3 games.

Teams SHOULD be handing it to the worst team in the league.

Ducks get 4 in the first

Why can't LA do this?

Not that Mason played particularly well, but the Ducks were also actually going to the net frequently and getting chances off rushes.

Ducks ended Columbus' PK streak too.

Kings offense.

At least the Kings kept Columbus scoreless in the first. :positive:

Ducks have potted 5 goals in 40 minutes. When was the last time the Kings even had 3 goals in the opening 40 minutes of a game?

They managed to solve the omnipotent Curtis Sanford, too.
