You'd think if He hated any NHL team, it would be New Jersey!

LOL! Well the ring is interesting. I know it's ice crystals somewhere in the atmosphere, which just adds more of a hockey tone to it.

I hope it's a sign that this win will have a ripple effect....

Well I guess any win's a positive, even if it is 1-0 against a team that scores less than us somehow

We won.. thats right but... we lose PO earlier and inspite of it:

Johansen: 7:40 O min PP (especially we had tragical PP but the same players played)
Moore: 10:40
Savard: 12:10

and AHL player Russell: 13:03 and 3:45 on PK

sorry but it is not good.

Blues fan here. I've been a Sanford fan since he was here in STL and I'm loving his play this season. Congrats for a great game!

Seems to me that a game with 8 penalties agains and 6 for is not the best game to analyze ice time. Particularly given that nearly half the third was spent a man down.

How many time Johansen was on PP? Mothign. Do you think he is worse than some players on PP? Not.

AHL player Russell is a defensive specialist. The "traditional" type 3rd line's job is to shut down the opposition. It seems like Russell - Pahlsson - Dorsett did a good job of that yesterday. I have no idea why you don't like defensive forwards.

Every coach who's ever won anything in any sport will tell you "defense doesn't win championships."

I like defensive forwards But I am shocked that the young talent has lesser ice time and dont play in PP where he would be more fit than some players. Too, that our defensmen have too much ice time and youngs not inspite of it we wont be in PO. We must work with our youngs better. I dont think we has drafted bad but our work with them arent too good. If the coach doesnt have confidence for Johansen we would let him in juniors and Moore with Savard in AHL not this.

No idea how often he was on PP. I don't really care. I'm not at all concerned with who gets what on a given day. I'll question macro decisions by coaches and so forth, but I don't see the value in criticizing how much ice time someone gets as if I were their parent. Johansen and Moore have seen a fair amount of ice. Hopefully they earn more. I'd wait and see what happens today before getting up in arms about what yesterday's TOI was.

Besides, nobody needs any convincing that Arniel is in over his head and not fit to be an NHL coach.
